Take time out, Darren, but don't leave us all on our own here! Especially not after you just got your avatar. That would be silly.

Not just me that is thinking that either...I have gotten a couple of PMs from other members equally as miffed as I am! Also seriously questionning staying on a site where the staff don't seem to give a toss about what the members want!

Yeah, and one of those pm's was from me!. :)

It's strange how things are fine for a few days, then a certain 'somthing' niggles you!. :)

Haven't you had to put up with enough crap already this year Darren?. :)

Oh, well, we long standing Members are no longer required. We just let the 'new guns' shoot their way through us!.

Cheers Darren

All the best,

Ian

Yeah Bondian.....the CBn staff couldn't care less about what we think. It's a shame because CBn used to be a fun place for Bond fans to come and chat!

That's right Darren!. Although I have no 'gripes' with certain Staff cause they do do a damn fine job, and they do give up a lot of their spare time!.

I also had a PM from a long standing Member this evening who told me that I was apparently given a 'warning' by a certain Member, the it was edited away!. If I'd seen that I would of gone banana's!.

All the besy,

Cheers,

Ian

Personally I don't care! Its just that CBn has gone to the dogs leaving Bond fans having to look elsewhere to chat about 007.

CBn was a great site. Now it's a joke!

I am sorry to hear that you have such problems. You are a very good member to this site, you always make insightful meaningful posts, that would be dearly missed should you leave and i truly mean that. If this all bothers you that much, why not just leave now gracefully, a lot of us still love this site. Things like this detract from it.

Why bother caring Bondian, we are both in agreement about how CBn has gone down the toilet in the last month or so.

Longtime members will have noticed that I have not been on CBn as much as I used to, there is a reason for that!

Well Johnboy may have a point there. But would you leave your job is someone at work was being a pain-in-the-:)!. Of course not, why should we be pushed aside from something we like?.

I still like CBn but it seems that everyone signing up to JBIFC!.

Should we not get back onto topic?.

Surely we have posted many times who's our best Bond, Villain Female etc?. Why do we need to have these in our profiles?.

Cheers,

Ian

Yes and CBn didn't do anything to fix the issue...In fact they did something to p*ss me off even more. I was willing to take a sit-back-and-see attitude once the dust settled but instead one member of the staff decided to use their position to hammer home a point of view.

Darren, maybe we should consider this!.....

We DO have Friends here on CBn and that's the only reason why I stayed.

Go back to the beginning of the year Mate, certain Staff Members and Members were very supportive!.

All the best,

Cheers,

Ian

I don't mind the profiles per se.....what I mind is the way they are being used by staff to hammer home a point of view.....thats one of the reasons I said CBn is a dictatorship

I'm confused as to how you feel CBn has gone to the dogs over the last month. Is it the quality of topics? We're stuck in a lull at the moment because nothing is really happening on Bond 21. It's all speculation and wild rumours.

Is it the members? If so then you do have the luxuary of being able to ignore or blank them when you respond to a post.

I'm just wondering what specifically you feel is wrong with CBn? What event led you to call it a dictatorship?
