welcome db5 to Cbn! we've had a big convo about that subject of Blofeld comming back. You should check it out and put your input.
anyways

Sleep to Live

i saw this line at Haynes furniture store and it was a phrase for a mattress and i thought it would be great for a bond title.

Its a theme that shows up in Goldfinger with Pussy Galore, OHMSS with Tracy di Vicenzo, and to an extent with Adam's character in MWTGG. The idea of a beautiful woman who is emotionally imploded. It would provide Pierce's Bond with a challenge & a context for the racier scenes Brosnan has stated that he would like to do more of in 21.

How about...

Strawberry Blondes Forever.
Abby Road To Hell

Hmmm.

Naah

Well save these ideas for the first CBn James Bond Musical.

In regards to titles, I believe that no reference to killing, dying, death, or die should be made for a while. They are utilizing a cliche by making every other Brosnan title have a reference to death.

Hello Fellow Bond Fans,

Now everyone knows that with each new bond film, you have to supply
a good title.....

...and I like to suggest a few.

1.No One Lives Forever
2.Skaken,Not Stirred
3.Everything or Nothing (Based on the Game)
4.Millienium
5. Back of Beyond
6.Death to Spies

Hmmm....what do you think?

Very goode choices Agent J. Bond, there are quite a few threads out there with this very same idea, but no matters. :) I'm quite fond of an old Fleming relic that I consider is way past it's due date for using, and that would be 'My Enemy's Enemy', it's stylish, sophisticated and has that Fleming 'feel' to it.

I very much wonder for the amazing amount of people that like 'Shaken, not Stirred' as a title, if it will ever become one.

A good title list. Unfortunately, I believe that Shaken. Not Stirred would be the only title that Eon Productions would possibly use.

No One Lives Forever is a good title, but it's a trademark of Fox Interactive for their 1960's spy satire game. It's also too similar to the title of the John Gardner novel Nobody Lives Forever (1986).

EA Games needed to seek permission from Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli to name their upcoming James Bond game Everything or Nothing. This title will not be used on future James Bond films.

Back of Beyond was a title used for an adventure of the James Bond roleplaying published by Victory Games.

Death to Spies refers to Smiert Spionem or Smersh, an apparatus of the Soviet government tasked with assassinating foreign spies. I don't think it's likely that Eon Production would give a film this title because of this connection.

And in Europe, in Germany especially, they would laugh and think of the American Western novels written by Karl May about the adventures of "Old Shatterhand" and his Native American friend Winnetou.

I say we quit the cliches, and use names. The titles we came up with, or the rumours we hear only mush up others previous titles, many of the titles we heard were laughable, except for one...

How about

"Eyes of the Storm," with the villains name being (something) Storm. This would work better if the villain was an assassin or killer rather than a businessman or industrialist. "Eye of the Storm" would work, but I think that "Eyes" brings a twist to the saying, just like "You Only Live Twice," "Live and Let Die," and "Octopussy." The title would work well if the plot was very complex, and took place in an isolated location, like on a mountain or at sea, while there's a storm occuring. This would make the title work on many levels.

I thought you meant titles as in titles sequence. I got all excited as the titles for DAD were the best since Goldeneye... I hope Danny can keep going along that vien. He's wonderful.

As for titles I think I'd have to know a bit more about the plot before I could even speculate a good title. Final Assignment is a definate no-no though!!!

"Time is the enemy", I think is a great suggested title for Bond 21, but then again, it would be nice to have a little bit more info on the plot.

I hope the title is not Final assignment for sure. it could mean one of two things, pierce is done or...all bonds are done! Although i doubt that it could be that serious.

Brandon, welcome to THE place to discuss James Bond.

As Qwerty said, there are a number of threads on the subject in the Bond 21 section.

The purists would love to see things like:

*Shatterhand
*Risico
*My Enemy's Enemy
*Everything Or Nothing
*All The Time In The World
*The Hildebrand Rarity (My own favourite of the un-used Fleming)

Most of the above will likely remain out of the running.

Others would love to see Gardner or Benson titles but that will not happen for Bond 21 (if ever).

Go to the Bond 21 section Brandon, and eat your heart out!:)

A good title would be "The Spy Who Bonded With Me". Do u guys get it?

What a douchebag.

Forgive me for bumping up this ancient thread but that's got to be one of my stupidest posts ever. I've made some stupid ones, but this gem takes the cake.

Don't be too hard on yourself with this one. Surely you were making a little joke?

Otherwise, I agree, you have made some silly posts in your time....
