To all ops:

On November 7, of this year, a huge formal occasion has been arranged for the administration and staff of MI6. Other dignitaries and diplomats will be there, members of the various branches of the military, and a few other government agencies and departments. This also includes a few members of the Royal Family, including the Queen, herself.

Each of you has been told to enjoy yourself with the food and dancing, and the casino that has been added, but to please do your utmost to create as favorable an impression possible to keep you and your supervisors and department heads looking professional and stately. Not to mention all of MI6.

As a standard procedure, however, it has been advised that you come discreetly armed in the eventuality of the unexpected. As always.

Security will be very, tight as it always is during such events, so this appears that this will be an evening which will permit everyone to unwind and forget about the everyday grind.

There will be a complimentary bar and buffet. A dance floor will be set up with a small orchestra playing classical pieces to dance all forms, from the tango to waltz to foxtrot. Also the casino is ser up with about three dozen or so tables of blackjack, baccarat, craps, roulette, etc. All monies lost will be forwarded to a worthy and needy charity.

Traveling by limo, you approach Buckingham Palace. You are inspired by the grandeur and true majesty of the structure and the level of security about the place. You see the Palace Guard out front, making a good show of it, as they always do.

As you arrive at the palace

It is 18:01 and the orchestra strikes up a Mozart concerto in G minor. A lively piece with dramatic and humerous overtones.

009 strolls over to the orchestra and stands next to the platform, looking around. She turns to a waiter that is close by and asks if they will be serving blended Scotch.

The waiter narrows his eyes and gives her a suspicious look.

009: Just checking.

002 strolls over to the bar and orders 004 and 003 a nice three finger shot of Johnny Walker black, and gets herself a mimosa.
