P: 008, 003 and 002 are.

009: You don't know? Penny, I thought you knew everything... *shows hand with ring in a very nonchalant way*

*Moneypenny does not seem to notice*

009: Shall we just barge in on them?

004 Looks at 009 and then at Monneypenny.

Monneypenny, would you be able to interrup M and ask her if she would like us to join the party.

I would like to stay....somewhat in M's good graces, after all.

Looks at 009 and making sure his beretta is secure: We'll paly by the rules - for now.

009 smiles and looks at him: I'm glad you think there are rules. Good. We'll be talking more about that in the future.

004, with a smile and a raised eyebrow: Yes, I am sure we will.

002: Sorry about disturbing your holiday... *eyes widen when she notices ring* I see you've enjoyed yourself. Uh... *looks at M* So...

002: No, absolutely not. 009, could I see you for a moment?

*takes 009 outside office*

009: What is going on?

002: Were you just about to announce.... *points at ring*

009: Maybe, yes.

002: Well, I must warn you... SHE *points at M's office* will not be so pleased.

004, looking him dead in the eye: It can't get any harder than its been going it alone - *places his hand on 003's shoulder* Old man. Know what I mean?

003 looks at him for a moment. Shrugs and gives a brotherly hug: If that's what you want, mate. *003 nods* I'm behind you. Just like always.

004, nodding back to him: Yes. Its everything I want. Besides a scotch. And the opportunity to beat the crap out of some terrorists. And Europe. A trip to Europ-

M: We got the picture, 004! *Sitting down* I've already made my little speech. *speaking a bit harshly* I can not, nor will I submit to providing any special favors when it comes to placement in assignment. *M rises and approaches 004* I am sorry, Matthew. You are both operative of Her Majesty's Governament. I cannot play favorites. Neither may either of you.

004, squarly: We KNOW this, M. And we DO understand it. I am not going to ask for your blessing in this matter. It is between Joyce and I.

M: Ever since 007 went though his - ordeal - I must have some sort of discipline. Bond did not marry an fellow agent. Granted. I do not wish to take side in this matter. You must do as your heart dictates. And I must do what my governemt orders me...and you to do.

An hour or so in the gun range.

An hour or so in VRS.

A half-pint or so.....

A chat with Q, who has suddenly began to talk TO 004, instead of at him. 004 find it to be strange and, yet, oddly comforting.

Basically the same, in all things except for the inclusion of 009.

004 flips open his phone and hits speed dial for 009.
