004 points the tow line and 009 casts it off.

Briefly looking over the controls, 004 pulls the handle back and puts the baot into reverse. Backing the boat slowly away from the dock and from other boats.

Shoving the lever forward, 004 looks over at 009 in her black bikini get seated. Ne nods to her.

Hold on.

004 opens the throttle up and the boat leaps forward, surprising even 004.

004 looking at 009: If I didn't know any better I'd swear this was a company boat.

The deep-V watercraft rips across the bay, heading for the open sea. Its a rought ride.

004 looks over the control adn spots something that look familiar. *it can't be*

A hydrofoil kit drops down, the choppy ride settles downa nd the boats levels off somewhat.

009 look at him and nods.

004 looks at her: Care to take the wheel?

009: Turn around and look behind you.

Three other speedboats are coming up behind them. Aboard each boat are three...

004: It can't be.

Lets see, if I remember the last boat I was on, Q told me there would be....ah, yes...

*004 pops open the "bair tank" and twists the hasp 180 degrees. The tank rotates over to reveal a weapons store locker.*

004 looks at the following boats and at 009: Should we go for the goons ro take out the boats altogether?

004 pulls out an AR-7 sniperrifle with high power scope attachment.

Hmmmm, nice. Q's made a few modifications. 30 round clip attachement.

Looks at 009: Let's take turns. Uh...ladies first of course.

*aims at first boat*

*fires at boat*

A second later, a blast follows and a huge ball of fire swallows Goon Speadboat #1.

004: Wonderful, my dear. Now step aside and take the wheel,

Without hesitation, the remaining goons open fire.

004: Damn nusiance. JOUCE! Flip the switch next to the igniton. You bikini, however becoming on you, lacks the ability screen out those harmful "rays."

She does so and the boat takes on a whole new look. The captains chair 009 is driving the boat from sudden has rising out of and on it sides kevlar reinforces steel plating rising out of it and it perimeter.

At the back of the boat, similar plates rise up to provide a nice alcove for 004 to shoot through.

He takes careful aim at the driver of boat two and takes him out as he does with the driver of number three. (That will only slow them down for a few moments)

004: Comfy? Lets go on a little tour. Take us in a circle - hard left?

*009 pulls the helm to the left and the boat makes a hard turn, now heading straight for the two remaining Goon Speedboats.*

*004 sprays the side of Goon Speedboat #3 with bullets*

*009 takes out her Walther P99 and shoots one of the goons off board*

009: And guess what? His name was Sharkey!

*004 frowns*

004: No it wasn't!

009: Sorry. Bad joke.

004: Have a cherry.

Each of the two boats passes hard around 004 and 009, steering wildly to avoid ramming them.

004, eye in the rifle scope, squeezes the trigger of hsi AR-7 and takes out the remaining driver of the vessel passing on his left.

The boat veers off wildiy and rams its companion vessel.

004: OH-

009: SHI-

The two boats collide and a massive explosion almost sends them spinnig out of control 009 manages to keep her hands on the wheel and pilot the boat at full throttle away from the carnage.

A few minutes later, 009 drops the boats back down off the hydrofoils and allows her to stop in the water.

004 sits nest to 009 in a heap and looks over at her.

009, a tad nervous, with a smile: Having fun?

004, a slow smile that evolves to laughing out loud: This is one hell of a vacation. Lets take this bucket back and find a "safer harbor." At least for a while.

009 kisses him and it is returned.

As the boat sails off:

009: I got more of them than you did.

004, defensively: I don't think so...

009: Oh, yes.

004: Just how many do you think you got?

009: More than you.

004: I'm gonna love partying with you....

009: Hang on, darling. OF COURSE we KILLED the bad guys... but how did they know we were here?

*dramatic music starts playing in the background*

009: Could it be... there's still a mole at MI6?

004 pulls our a small box out of one of the storage bays. Flipping it one her does a scan of the boat. 009 watches him with interest.

As 004 passes over the steering wheel the small box lites up....red.

004 looks at 009 and tells her to keep quiet. He bends over and kisses her for a long moment. She looks at hm curiously.

004: Mind if I drive for a time, my love?

009 shrugs and het up: Not at all.

004 Sits down behind the wheel.

004, quietly working on the wheel: I tell you what. There is a little resturant I visited once on the other side of the island. Interested?

009, playing along: Sound delightful. I could use a bit of quiet after all of this.

004, getting the cap of revealing a tracer/bug: Then were off.

004 allows the bug to follow them for several minutes as he pilots the boat in the direction he mentioned to the bug.

Suddenly he snips the wires and tosses the bug overboard.

004 spins the boat hard over, causing 009 to fall on top of him into his seat. He pushes the boat up to full.

009: I take it were not going to that resturant.

004: That's right, were not.

Looking at her.

004: Take a wild guess where it is?

009: Umm... uh....

009: Uh... (in a very soft voice) no...

009: But look... LOOK...

*opens cabinet and pulls out bottle of Bollinger and two glasses*

009: No, cherries I'm afraid... but what do you think?

009, poping bottle and pouring: ah, but, it would be inaproprite not to start.......any meal....without a glass *hands him one* and a toast.

004, takes and raises his glass: To us.

009: Really wish there were cherries....

004: I was just saying...

*suddenly, they both start to feel dizzy*

004: Joyce... what was in that champagne...

009: Um... I don't know...

A few hours later, the sun is low in the sky.

004 and 009 awaken. Still lying on the deck of the boat which is rocking to and fro.

004 puts his hand over 009's mouth and shakes his head.

They listen for a long moment.

Silence. Just the waves.

Very slowly, 004 grabs his beretta and rises up to get his berings.

No visible land. No other watercraft in visual range. He grabs the binos and does another scan.

Nothing.

He looks at her.

004: Uh, oh.

Quickly, 004 checks the vessels guages. Out of fuel. He looks at 009 with a odd smile.

009: What? What is it?

004: When I tossed the tracer/bug overboard, we change course. But once we were drugged the boat continued on until it ran out of fuel. No telling WHERE we are. Just yet anyway.

009: Don't -

004: What -

009: We'll need to check out EVERYTHING. Who knows what could be bugged.

004 slowly looks at her with a slow smile and a nod.

009: Oh, no. Just a damn minute.

004: Oh, yes. Let go down below. *serious* Trust me.

009: I don't think trusting YOU is the problem...

004: Thank you for the compliment...but...we need to get something to drink and a little food would be a good idea right about now.

They go down below to the small but spacious cabin. A multipurpose galley, sleeping quarters, and lounge.

After surprising Joyce with a small bundle of cherries brought along with him, they snack on the items found in his sachel and limit their attempts to what was left on board.

009: What do we do now?

004: For the time being, I'm going to get undressed, get these shoes off and, hopefully, put my arms around you for the evening. I am still a little out of it from the champagne...

009, putting her arms around him: Yes, its proof that drinking can ruin your life.

004: Indeed?

009: So... stuck in the middle of nowhere... what are your plans? Hope the tide will bring us somewhere?

004: Um... Joyce... There IS something called 'telephone' on board. We can always ring the coastguard.

009: Oh right.
