004 makes a very slow turn and looks at 009 for a very serious moment.

He takes a deep breath and lets it out.

His head drops for just a second, then turns suddenly goes to the door and locks it.

He quickly goes back to 009 adn looks at her again.

004, a bit silly: Right. Shall we? *kisses her, then Very serous* I hope we're not going to Bryces bathroom. Please, no.

009, shakes her head: I've got my own....

004: Bathroom?

009 shakes her head and smiles.

*pushes button on desk*

*004's eyes widen*

*two cupboards slide away from the wall*

*out comes a HUGE...*

004: ...waterbed?

009: Not good?

004 picks 009 up and carries her into the room.

Ten seconds later...

009 and 004: AAAARRRGGHH!

009: You wore your KNIFE? On a WATERBED? Are you NUTS?

004: Oops.

009: It's leaking through the floor.

004: Which office is beneath us?

009: Uhh... 006's.

*they look at each other*

They both burst out laughting.

004: Perfect.

009: That's funny.

004: Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

009 looks at him and sighs: So, now what do we do.

004, looking at the bed: That's a hole alright, but not a very big one. Just a second.

004 pulls off his shoes. 009 begins to get undressed. 004 looks at her.

009: What are you doing?

004: I am going to attempt to patch the leak.

009: NO I mean, why are you staring at me.

004: You're kidding me right. *004 opens the heel of his left shoe*I NEVER get to look at you enough. *He pulls out a small piece of vulcanized rubber and a pen from his pocket. 009 begins to look on as she romoves his tie. 004 smiles and shakes his head a little as he peels the backing off the patch and, takes the cap off the pen and reverses it.
The pen ignites and 004 does a short little weld job.*

Do you have a hand towel?

009: Yes, of couse.

004: Mops up the excess moisture and looks at 009.

009: Well. Clothes are soaked... need to dry... we might as well stay here for the next couple of hours.

004: Good point.

*puts arms around her*

*there's a knock on the door*

*they look at each other*

*they sigh*

009: Who's there?

006 (from behind the door): Uh... 006. Uh... Joyce? Uh... I believe something is leaking in your office.

009: Really?

006: Yes, can I come in and check?

009 (looking at 004): I'm in the middle of something right now. Could you come back later?

006: Uh... well... okay...

Two hours later, 004 and 009 lay snuggled up to each other under the sheets of the bed.

004: Well, that was...

009: Wonderful? Great?

004: Well, I was going to say...

*door opens and 006 steps in*

009 and 004 and 006: AAAARRRGGGHHH!

*004 and 009 hide beneath sheets*

004: I thought the door was locked!

009: Yeah, I locked it!

004: No I did!

009: Then you must have unlocked it!

*they become very quiet all of the sudden*

004: 006? You still there?

006 (very softly): Yes.

009: Why aren't you leaving then?

006: I can't move.

004 to 009: You put glue on the floor to keep me from leaving?

009: (smiling) I don't need glue for that, my dear,

*sticks head out and sees 006 standing there in complete shock*

009: Snap out of it, luv. And leave. This was all a REALLY bad dream. You weren't here. WE weren't here. Okay?

006: Okay. *faints*

I've never seen anything - hey just a minute. Whay was 006 comng up here? I'll take care of this.

004 quickly puts on a robe, grabs a few items out of Joyces desk, goes to the unconscious 006 and in just a few minutes

009: Brilliant, my dear.

*they toast and drink some champagne*

009: Now... about lunch...

The two of them report to Monneypenny that are out to lundh and running a few standard domestic errands.

They both jump into 004's Lagonda and head for the location in question.

As they get out, 004 look around the area just as he always does whenever he is in a any location in the open.

That's good. Clear. *looks at 009* Let check this place out.

*they step inside the house and are immediately welcomed by an old man*

M: Oh.. what do you want?

009: We're interested in buying your um... penthouse.

M: Well, don't expect me to give you a tour.

004: Ummm... okay. Thank you, how very polite.

The man gives him a dirty look.

004: You are trying to SELL this place, aren't you?

M: NO, I just like putting up sale signs. OF COURSE, it's for sale.

Joyce steps away to look at the entrace foyer.

004, taking a step closer, slight smile: Then, perhaps, you should consider being a bit more polite. Especially when there is a lady present. *Matt opens his jacket, refealing the fact that his is carrying a weapon. The old mans eyes glance down and up again.*

M: Ahem. Yes. Uh, well, why don't I show you around? Heh, heh, uh....

004, closing his jacket, very polite: Thank you, that would be appreciated.

M: Okay, uh....lets see....the flat has a small entrance foyer, ya see here. And this way to the central living area....she's 25 meters by 40 meters....

004's eyes go wide: Ahem, my.

The room is very well appointed in cherry wood and teak with full panoramic view, fire place, book shelves, etc.

M: Through that was is the kitchen. The dining room is accesible from there and through that door, so yer guests don't have to go through the kitchen, of course. That doors are a closet, that be a guest bathroom, there...that's the door to the dining hall.

004: Hall?

M: Yes, sir, that's what I call it.

004: Okaaaay....

009 bounces up: What do you thing so far?

004: very impressive....is there a private study, and where are the sleeping quarters?

009: Yes. I would like to see that.

M: Through the other door in the foyer is a direct acces to the slepping quarters. But you can also get there from that door over there *points to his right* That get you to the stairs and up to the upper level. But, you have to go through the den to get there.

009: Let's go see.

004: Yes, ma'am!

*they head over to the sleeping quarters, which are HUGE*

M: Well, there you have it - the view, and enough space for a bed...

009 and 004: We can see that.

*009 looks at 004*

009: Most impressive. There must be a catch, this is too good to be true.

M, talks as the couple look over things: Well, let's see. Flat was built in 1962, she a classic, with ten rooms and two complete and two half baths, view, underground parking for three with secluded access, Private entry into sleeping quarters. Roof access with garden and sauna. She's in need of a little work here and there. All the wiring was replaced in 1979...all the plumbing was redone in 1988...the neighbor hood is like a demilitarized zone....all the windows have doulble pane glass installed in 1992....all the carpet was replaced in 1999.....

004: Whoa....just a second what was that....

M: Which....?

004: The last thing you said...was?

004: I'll ask it again: You DO want to sell, don't you?

M: Alright, alright... follow me.

The couple follow the old man to the study and he begrudgingly takes out some papers for them to look at and sign.

004: What is this, attitude. I thought we discussed this before...sir. Not exactly consistent with someone trying to sell ..... anything.

M: I don't want to sell it.

009: then...WHY...?

M: Its my sisters. I want her to GIVE it to me.

009, a little sad: You don't have a place to live.

M, laughing: Sure I do. I just WANT this place, too.

004 and 009 look at each other and shake their heads.

004: Let me see that contract. *the old man hands it over*

004, reading: My. Hmmmm. Well. Interesting.

009: WHAT?

004: We can purchase this property, "lot, stock and barrel" as it were, provided....

009: Provided? *getting suspecious* Provided...what?

004, looking at the old man and then at 009: Provided we live here for the next 10 years and we are married.

009: That's the catch?

004: Apparently. It also stipulates that we make an attemtp to make it a happy home. Ifso facto we do so.....this is the selling price....

009: What?!!? That's what I paid for my little flat.

004, handing her the pen, a look between them, a moment of decision: I will if you will.

009: Umm... does this mean we'll have to get married sooner? A-and have kids and stuff? *starts to freak out*

Married, thats specified. But not until we move in. We still have to take care of our current quarters.

Children, no. that is not specificied, but-

Sees 009's nervousness.

009: Were you hoping...?

004 gets down on his knees and holds her and gets her to look him in the eyes.

Children? sigh. I don't know about that. I had not considered that. If it was something we BOTH decide on....that's different.

Look at me now.

YOU are more than I ever hoped for in the first place. I know that having kids is a very scary thought to you....it is to me as well. Don't EVER let that stop you from marrying a fool like me. I never had plans to raise a family.

I will not be dissapointed if we do not. *Matt is very close to her now* But...I am sure if you ever change your mind, I would still be there to make you happy. I am sure any children you would have...would be as beautuful as you are.

Don't ever let this subject come between us. I will never, ever, force THAT issue. I will be more than happy for you to decide about such things.

*kisses her deeply*

As long as you are happy, so am I

009: The don't. I am going to marry you - you bet I will. It's just... moving in with you is enough for one day. See what I mean? We'll just take it nice and easy.

009 (to old man): Hit it.

*man gets cd player running*

S: We're on the road to romance... that's safe to say... but let's make all the stops along the way...

004: STOP IT!

*music stops*

004 kisses her. Looks at old man: We'll take it. *Looks at 009* But the time we compete business with this place and all the modifications Q-branch will have to do the place...we'll BE married. Until then we can either stay together at your OR my flat. We can keep them both if you want to.

It will work out. This place is too fantastic to pass up.
