*Xenobia turns Darren to see the impossible. A large truck pulls up along side the AM belonging to Bryce and O'Keefe, and pulls the car in.*

*G enters office as gunfire is heard.*

"Great, a bad hangover and now more gunfire starts! How can the same thing happen to the same guy twice?"

*Loads gun and sits down at desk.*

*Gets up on desk and opens up ventilation shaft.*

"Just once I'd like to have a nice quiet day at the office."

*G vanishes into vent and makes his way for level six.*

*G crawls through the vent until he gets to 001's office. He spies some cat nip but also hears a subtle purring.*

"Come on, kitty. Come on."

*G softly unlatches the vent and lowers himself down into the office. The floor is creaky, as are the walls, (Hey, we did blow the hell out of the building a few days ago). G scans the are, gun drawn. Suddenly, the cat leaps out from the shadows and scurries out the door. G fires six shots but the cat goes down a hole in the floor.*

*Takes out radio*

"002, the little furball is heading for you!"

004 reaches over to jacket from bed and answers phone.

004-I'm beginning to think that either there is more than one cat, or the cat we're dealing with is unlike any cat ever encountered before. Or it could be that I'm just too hung over to shoot straight, either one of the three is possible really.

009: "Just this once. And try to steer clear of the trees."

Starts car. Okay, Joyce, give me a couple of guidelines for this vehicle.

Maximum speeds, how high will she go, similarities to a Harrier Jump Jet, etc. You Know.

Noting the pedals on the floorboard and switches on the heads-up display. "VERY NICE. Very, very..." looks at 009 "....nice, indeed."

Hmm, fuel level is okay....

"The little red button on the gear shift is it?"

004 jambs the stick and hits the button. The car lifts straight into the air.

"Compacted the controls into the steering wheel....amazing."

Using a combination of foot pedal, tilting steering wheel and heads-up display, 004 'flies' 009's car towerd Xen's last reported position.

"So...009.....What's you favorite color?"

004 presses down on the accelator and the vehicle kicks forward even faster.

"It just can't be this hard to please a lady."

Looks at 009

004 gains some in altitude.

"Some damn tall trees around here."

Looks at 009 again. Its a bit of a differnt smile.
