I read somewhere that Samantha Bond plays the niece of the Moneypenny played by Lois Maxwell and Caroline Bliss. Is this true?

No truth in that at all...Miss Moneypenny is...Missy Moneypenny, the same one thats always been in the movies. Otherwise they would have made a note of this, like they did with M and Q

Also...I dont know if you were joking with your comment, but here is additional information. Lines:

'As far as I remember James...you've never HAD me...'
~Penny in Goldeneye

'Ah, the story of our relationship. Close...but no cigar'
~Bond in TWINE

Obviously these are throwbacks to the older Bond flicks. Thus, Penny is the same. HeHe, just wanted to add that
:)

Nope I wasn't joking. :) That's what I had always thought, but it was an interesting story and I was wondering if it had even the slightest bit of truth in it. I found it here, but I guess I shouldn't believe anything with so many mistakes on it. :)

I didn't want to read all this **** so it might have been suggested, but R sticks as a title because not only was it in the film but it was his title in the N64 video game as well as Agent Under Fire which followed it. Thus, there are actually a few official products with the R character as that name. Also, there wasn't neccesarily a Q in he novels, M refers to it but he might mean Q branch. And it's never mentioned that Boothroyd in Doctor No isn't Q from other books if he indeed does exist, so I see no reason not to believe that Flemings Boothroyd is Q as well. As for Haregraves/Messervy, I think it's safe to say we'll never know in the film universe, though the books make it clear it was all Messervy.

Once again I didn't cuss, and I don't even remember what they censored in my last post but I didn't say anything.
