That would be a pretty damn big secret.

But, still, credit where it's due - you're half right - "...desperately heartbroken (I) can't have him flayed to within an inch of his existence" would have been a more technically accurate answer.

Or, on the basis that he is constructed out of solid mahogany (a very dense wood), "...can't have him crammed into a wood chipper"

Ah, as the old song says, "You always hurt the one you love, the one you shouldn't hurt at all"

(For the more emotionally retarded of the brethren, this is a joke)

He talked to himself for a full year. You should have seen the flames!

I just wandered into this thread wondering what the heck it was all about and after reading it all the way thru....I'm still wondering! :)

First, a couple of reviews of posts to this thread:

< No thank you...this is a shame free zone. ;-) We should be proud that we can come here and be this verbose!

From Jim:
It's what one says, and the way that one says it, rather than how often one says it, that seems to garner "respect" (although quite why one would - or needs to - crave "respect" is another matter). After all, Emily Bronte wrote little, Barbara Cartland wrote a lot.>>

Much wisdom and brilliance in both sentiments.

Second, excuse me Loomis but you're going to have to get thru me to get those Dalton bedclothes. I'm short but I have really well-kept nails! :)

Third, clueless me had absolutely no idea that post-counting was the source of intense competition among some CBners. Huh???

Fourth....hm, I forgot what I was going to post... I'll post it later.

Jim...I always knew you would be a chipper mood when talking about Pierce. :)

As for Danny...I always knew he was a flamer. ;-) (For those who don't me, that too is a joke.)

Yes I'm a flamer. Annoy me, I'll douse you in petrol and set you alight.

Actually, that may make my victim the flamer or would they then be the flameee.

Something to ponder.

Just wanted to say I am happy with the new rules in the Role Playing forums. I don't think I deserve to be a Secret Agent because of all the crap I've posted in there.

As a future note, and I believed I warned of the possibility, at some stage in the future people who have posted in that forum may 'lose' their posts. They won't be deleted, but it may come to a point where the past ones don't count either. It just depends on software upgrades throughout the forum.

That sounds fair. :)
