I'm looking forward to seeing my screening in a little over an hour, but I was wondering how full it was likely to be.

For those who have already seen the film, how full/empty were your views? Any full houses? Anyone have the cinema to themselves?

Obviously the official premieres were pretty packed - I'm not wondering about them.

Went at 10 am, probably three quarters full.

On the way out, they were queuing out the doors for the 1pm showing. 5pm and 6pm had already sold out.

It wasn't quite as full as for The Dark Knight Rises at the same cinema at the same time of day. A lot more packed than for Prometheus at 10 am, which was me and about 6 other guys.

I was there today at 1pm, and I'd say in the biggest screen, it was about half-full, so I expect evening screenings and weekends to be packed!

But it's even better hearing the laughs of other audience members at certain jokes and the witty script. Enjoy the viewing JC!!

Due to family related issues I wasn't able to attend the screening I originally intended, so I went to the 3rd of 4 showings of today at my local theatre. The showing I attended was about 80% full and 4th one was apparently sold out. So people in Oulu, Finland are into Bond!

Well, for a 9pm showing that, after ads and trailers, finished at about 10 to 12 - I was surprised that there weren't that many empty seats. The audience reasons were perfect, laughing, gasping etc at all the right moments. I'll see how the audience momentum holds up when I buy my tickets again after getting paid next week.

BFI IMAX full house at 12pm. Kingston Odeon full house at 7pm - with the movie being run in around 10 other screens at the same time. Impressive.

Haven´t seen the flick yet, but the local manager said the room was already full, booked, all of it. Except for my seat, that is. Will make for a decent enough group experience I suppose.

The cinema i went to had been showing it since 10am, every 45 minutes. i caught the 13.45 screening, and a pretty much full house came out, as we were waiting to go in. I got the whole row ( 4 seats ) to myself. I would say it was about half full (people were scattered around, so it was hard to tell exactly. There was quite a large queue waiitng to come in as i came out however, at about 17.40

Packed. Sold out with half an hour to go before the adverts even started playing! Also, I was sat across from footballing legend Gary McAllister, which was pretty cool.

My 8pm showing was full. Sadly, I'm not sure how packed it was with Bond fans - there were times when I was the only one laughing at the gags!

I was at the BFI IMAX, it was sold out, as is every screening this weekend, from 8.30 in the morning to midnight. It's also sold out every evening next week and some afternoons too.

I was at the screening of 'Skyfall' yesterday at 13:30, Brighton Odeon, screen 2. I was surprised and delighted to see the house was full!

I've been to other daytime screenings of Bond movies on their day of release and have never see this kind of turn-out.

People clapped at the end of the movie, which I should imagine were largely dedicated Bond fans like myself.

Saw an update the UK VUE cinemas Facebook page...

We're still experiencing very high traffic to our website and phones this weekend due to the huge demand for Skyfall tickets.

We can't resolve ticketing issues here on Facebook - we don't have access to the system Please contact Customer Services on 08712 240 240 (calls cost 10p per minute from BT, other networks may vary) - press 0 to get through to a member of the team who will be able to help. Your best times to call at present are early morning or evening. You can also resolve ticket issues at the cinema.

I've not seen THAT sort of comment about anyother film since I joined FB.

Screening 1 - ODEON IMAX: Metro Centre - 19:00 - Completely full, give or take a few seats. Fantastic reactions. Laughing, crying, massive applause at the end. So proud.
Screening 2 - ~Empire Cinema's - Sunderland - 16:45 - 3 quarters full I should think. Awful audience. Kids getting up and leaving randomly, then coming back. Few laughs, not many.

This is quite amazing:

Yesterday, there were 22 showings at The Vue Cinema in Greenside Place, six at the Odeon in Lothian Road, four at the Cameo and 22 at Cineworld Fountainbridge. The Dominion in Newbattle Terrace had three showings, the Vue at Ocean Terminal had 22, and it was on eight times at the Odeon at Wester Hailes.
One usher at the Fountainbridge Cineworld said she was amazed at what she branded “Bond mania”. “I’ve never seen anything like this before for any other film,” said the student who works part-time. “It’s been phenomenal. All of the showings are busy and people just keep coming to see it.”

http://www.scotsman....inema-1-2609243

This is in Edinburgh alone. 22 showings in one day at a single cinema? And the fact that the multiple showings are all busy is fantastic

A few spare seats at Basingstoke's VUE and Odeon cinema for Wednesday and Thursday nights - and I mean about 10 random seats empty.

Can't believe how packed it is!

I went to an advanced IMAX screening at my local cinema in suburbian Bangkok and it was about 60% full, not bad considering it's in the suburbs on a Wednesday night 10pm screening.

Last night (Thursday) I went to watch it with my friends at a cinema in the city center at 6:15pm and it's about 70% filled. I can imagine it being nearly full today and on the weekend. Cinemas in Thailand are rarely ever full because they show new movies (especially big blockbusters like Bond, Batman or Marvel films) every hour. The only time I remember the cinema ever being full was when the Avengers came out, because the opening day happened to be a national holiday.

First showing, opening day, 1:30 pm... very few people I'm afraid. I think it must have been 20% full but then again most people catch the later showings. I was expecting way more though, considering it was a holiday... all saints day in Latin America.

IcedCamaro, probably less because it's a religious holiday.
