Adjusted for inflation (to 2012 rate):
Thunderball - $1,031,974,768
Skyfall - $1,024,193,213
7 million to go...
I don't know what to say besides wow.

The Baftas are the ones disgracing themselves with giving it the booby prize - way more then the Oscars, even though, they should have given it its tenth spot, too.

After a $1.5 million weekend in the US Skyfall is edging ever closer to $300 million at the US box office.

Absurd.

I think it is still a bit difficult to say what it has done as the International figures are not updated across the board excepting the total tally which appears hugely rounded (be it up or down).
FOREIGN TOTAL - 10/24/12 $83,048,496 11.3% $733,500,000 1/13/13
I daresay China will secure whatever is being reported but a half million dollar round up is not finite.

BOM's foreign tab is always horrendously out of date for every movie still running. The numbers they report for worldwide (total) are from the studios so they're accurate (though for a weekend they may be estimates).

Domestic box office for the weekend is an estimate on Sunday, with the actuals added on Monday.
Worldwide can take a bit longer. Some times the weekly up-date is a mix of estimates and actuals depending on the territory. So the total is called an estimate for a bit longer.
My prediction is that Skyfall’s final total will be above $1125m. ‘Final’ is a difficult word with this sort of thing, so let’s say by the home video release - 18th Feb.
Number 5 on the all time, worldwide chart.

Interesting to know the Total is studio reported. Ok, appeased - for now.
As for Shrubs...? Are you off on one again fella?! $1,125m!! We're very nearly finished.
I am of course joking and would never dare to repudiate your market stabs. Again, we will see. 18.02.13 it is.

According to this site, even adjusting for inflation "Skyfall" has easily bested "Thunderball":
http://www.007james..../box_office.php
1. Skyfall 2012 Daniel Craig $1,024,192,807
2. Thunderball 1965 Sean Connery $1,014,941,117
And just think, this figure doesn't even take into account China.

At some point tomorrow Skyfall should be passing $300 million in the U.S.

Well, TB's figure does take into account numerous re-issues and revenue from double-bills over 2 decades.

Number 11 on the All-Time Worldwide Grosses and hopefully China will give a few more pounds to get right into spot 7-8?
It's brilliant to see!

OK, but a little disappointing9.8 Mio. $ after 2 Days
Don't see where it says 9.8 Million for 2 days in that article...just an opening day of 5.1 Million, which I wouldn't call to disappointing as stated in the article that is more than The Dark Knight Rises made in China on it's first day (and it ended up with over 50 Million.)
Assuming Skyfall does similar business this will mean it is very likely Skyfall will have an end total of around 1.1 Billion worldwide, finishing between 7th and 5th on the highest grossing films of all time.

A few conflicting reports from PRC about how well 'Skyfall' has done around the web - it's done really well on 8K+ screens, others say not so.

I think it will perform strong and do good numbers.
