I don't believe Bond fights them as such. I think he is fighting some henchmen at the casino, who end up a bit too close to the Komodo dragons, and then are polished off.

Could this be the scene?

How something is created on screen depends upon what is needed. The greater and more complex the action the more likely a full CG representation would be used. Often CG is used to augment. In Casino Royale the mongoose and the snake were filmed separately;both were a bit lethargic so a more vicious looking muzzle was added to the Mongoose and fangs to a snake via the computer.

If it's in the PTS, that's the only place I can think of it fitting in. As for anywhere else in the movie, perhaps on Severine's yacht. I'd quite like it to be how Ronson meets his end though. Shades of DR NO and the tarantula.

This is certainly going to make an exciting scene, is this 100% making it into the film? I wonder if we would be so lucky to see them in the finale trailer.

We don´t know for sure. But it was scheduled to be filmed, according to someone at the Bond french club. Hope it ends up in the final print.

I was saying this in another thread that Silva seems like Largo in the sense that Large has a concrete plan and almost seems untouchable, expect for Bond that is. I can't wait to find out what Silva's plan is.

Anyway I really hope this makes it into the film however, could it really make it to the screen without us knowing first?

I'm quite confident that it will be in the finished film. We know far from everything.
For example, there is another big sequence involving hundreds of animals and a fight between 2 of the main characters that is not common knowledge.
