I'll only be 16 by the time this comes around next year. the only thing that would stop me from going would be my folks..and I may have to be 18 to attend something like this..
While there are certainly events that minors can attend at DTBB, much of the fun is certainly geared toward the 21 & over crowd.

Not a video game, but not unlike one either. Complete with USAF "training briefing" and you just might earn your wings.
Heh-heh-heh....

Combat Flight Simulator, I like the sound of that. Just to keep Darkpath busy, I will initiate CFS training immediately. Can you say "Combat Flight Simulator"?

That's what Grandma and Grandpa are for...
Aside from loading up your kid with candies and toys and spoiling them.
I would hope MRS. darkpath may choose to join us on one of these events. She seems quite lovely and she did know she married a spy right?

Speaking of combat, I blew a big chunk of change on my B-25 ride, so I definitely won't be going.

My father was a navigator on B-25's and B-29's out of Guam during WWII.
YES...Really.
Before GPS, there was my Dad, a radar screen, a map, a compass and a lot of vast ocean.
He always got everyone home.
Still, hope you can make DTBB3.

It certainly was.Worth it Kilroy.
That's awesome. I'm glad to hear he made it through the War.My father was a navigator on B-25's and B-29's out of Guam during WWII.

I wish I could, but it was doubtful before I took the ride. After spending that money for the ride, there's no way I could come up with that kind of money for DTBB3 . But if you decide to DTBB4 in Detroit....Still, hope you can make DTBB3.

Of course, the worst case is that you can count on me for IV.

Part IV?
Hmmmmm....
DTBB4 - 2009?
Too many anniversaries there: OHMSS (40th), MR (30th), LTK (20th), TWINE (10th).
Then again, why not? Wow. I just realized that 2009 might be a great year for a Bond celebration of four films....
Damn you darkpath, you've got my brain working too far in advance again.

Of course, it does occur to me that if you absolutely must have a change of locale for part 4, then there's always Tahoe in the Winter, which I think ties in well with OHMSS.
I suppose I will have to find a way to make it up to you Bryce. Sorry

I have complete confidence that my friends at the CIA could get the proper clearances to make this happen. It's not like you need the money.I am sorry, MI6 agents do not qualify for FFM(frequent flyer miles) on the Tomcat, please refer your request to the RAF.....Hmm, Combat Flight Simulator, eh? That's about half a site - "content coming soon" for most of the links... If we're looking for indoor skiing we may have to have our MI-5 counterpart in Dubai line up the monster slope built in the desert: Ski Dubai. The resort should be done just in time for 2009!40th Anniversary of OHMSS!! check this out

Bummer, I missed that memo. Well, we do have 2 years - I'm sure someone will come up with indoor skiing in Vegas by then.

Gentlemen, we shall endeavor to make your excursions to DTBB 3, 4, and beyond, as fun and exciting as we can , and not make you miss a house payment! I will research further into the ski dome and see if I can get at least a soft date. I can assume you all would be on the double diamond slope, whilst I and my CIA ops converge on the "Bunny" slopes!
Matt
Although I was quite happy with the "Bunny slopes" we saw at DTBB2
