Actually, I'm starting to get to a point where Craig's blonde hair and cinematically indiscernable height don't bother me anymore than all the other Bonds missing a scar on their cheek and a comma of hair falling down, and I got used to Moore's slightly-darker-than-Craig's hair a long time ago. Actually there are a couple of shots of Brosnan in GE, as Ourumov is taking Natalya away in St. Petersburg, that the comma is there, just as if it were perfectly intended.Agreed with every word, Tarl. Craig's looks are the elephant in the room. I'm a bigger Craig supporter than most, but answer this question honestly: before Craig was hired, whenever you heard or read the name "James Bond", did you ever not get an immediate, involuntary mental picture of a tall, dark fella?
Actually, it's Craig's huge, goofy ears that are hardest to overcome.
I still can't get over the fact that Bond is not a WWII veteran that looks like Hoagy Carmichael and smokes 70 cigarettes a day!
But he does look like Hoagy Carmichael!

LOL about the ears, though, Tarl. (Laz had the same problem, though!)

If Clark Gable was still alive in 1962 he shouldn't have played Bond because of his ears and his moustache!
They should have found a way to raise Jean Harlow from the dead and cast her as Bond. Now that would upset everyone!

BREAKING NEWS - EDWARD FOX SAYS HE PREFERS THE OLD TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES FILMS TO THE NEW ONE.
Veteran British actor Edward Fox has BLASTED Hollywood for the new updated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. "Hollywood has ruined a classic", says Fox. "I knew the Teenage mutant ninja turtles, and they're not happy with this crass portrayal thats been dumbed down for mass audiences. There's no subtlety in today's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I mean they didn't even get Vanilla Ice back for this new one. And if you look at Michaelangelo's bandana, its the wrong shade of orange. It's a travesty, and someone is probably rolling in his grave somewhere, or something. Is it time for my pills yet? Matron!".

Also I would expect someone like Edward Fox to know better than to be so, well, bitchy in public.
Well, I would have expected that Fox would have done a decent job as M in NSNA, but he was horrible...

I found the entire interview. Fox is outraged about plenty of other things too, here's a snippet :

Oh Fox's ex-wife was in the original Casino Royale as "Fang Leader." I think she was the one leading the exploding Grouse.
Good thing they were already divorced by then, or she might've been dealing with his "Not Fleming!" outrage every night for a long time afterwards.

If this has been reported correctly, what possessed Mr Fox to say such a thing. I think the jury is well and truly in on Mr Craig.

Oh, do come along, Ace! Let's try and think of something more logical, shall we? (I think that bit is correct)

Why are people still focused on this when there are still so many other burning issues out there:
-Who is the real father of Anna Nicole's Smith's baby?
-What will become of Britney Spears now that she's out of rehab?
-How does this Sanjaya guy keep from being voted off American Idol?

Well, we all might never have heard of Edward Fox if Roger Moore had been cast as the Jackal, a role he lobbied for and was close to getting.
If this has been reported correctly, what possessed Mr Fox to say such a thing. I think the jury is well and truly in on Mr Craig.

Well I wish Roger coulda done that Jackel movie. It probably woulda been much more interesting and not so damned boring. The time I watched it was just to past the time till TCM showed Grand Prix with James Garner. To me it makes no since to bash Craig anymore (it didn't stop anything or change anything) so people shouldn't waste there time, but we all have our opinions and some of us stick by them closely. I didn't like it at first when I found out they casted him but I saw the movie and was blown away, but I still think he's too short and too blond, but the blondness didn't really bother me watching the film.

I admit, this has become more of a big deal than it ever deserved to be. It's like Norman Burton commenting that Jeffrey Wright totally missed on Leiter.
Actually that would be a pretty big deal being that Norman Burton is dead and all.

Daniel is the best Bond I've seen. He gets it right from beginning to end. I'm defenately looking forward to Bond 22 and so on. I hope he can do the part for 10 years. But time will tell on that.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Some of my friends have surprised me by saying Daniel Craig is plain ugly, and it was "not a Bond movie".
Interesting but please remember not everyone likes it, and they are fully entitled to their opinions, just as we are.
