Augh! You call those James Bond titles?

A James Bond title must be a title to remember, easy to understand and most importantly, BOND LIKE!

A Bond title easy to understand? Goldfinger? Thunderball? Moonraker? Octopussy? GoldenEye? etc James Bond's titles has nearly always been enigmatic ones. All the best Bond titles or any other title for that matter are NOT ones that are easy to understand. All of mine are VERY bond like, original and very exciting - full of intrigue.

I didn't say I was THE lord, it's just auser name ok?

Oh and 'kingdomcome' they can't use "Dr Who", it was already a name of a BRITISH TV show back in the 60's, that's why they called their first Bond movie Dr No. So they can't use Dr Who.

Perhaps people are confused as this thread was made a "sticky" not for a joke but so others can suggest their legitimate sounding titles. :)

After looking through this thread, I gotta say -- I don't see how Fleming, Gardner or Benson could keep coming up with those spiffy titles...

Personally, I always liked -- "For King And Country."

Some people like to get all touchy about it 'cause it's the queen in power, not a king, but "For Queen And Country" doesn't sound as good, in my opinion.

If you want a queen title, how about "God Save The Queen."

Here's a question -- what are they gonna call the Jinx movie? If they call it "Jinx: The Movie," I'm gonna be severely disappointed.

In all seriousness, I like a title that John Gardner was not allowed to use for one of his novels by Ian Fleming Publications:

BLONDES PREFER GENTLEMEN

To me it sounds very Fleming-esque

Living's in the Way we Die might be good to keep on hand for bond 24...don't wanna have 3/5 Bros films with Die in the title.

Blondes Prefer Gentlemen is quite nice in a lighter bond film.

how about:

1) endgame (the bond franchise ends here?)
2) last rites
3) kiss of death
4) solace
5) queen's gambit
6) checkmate
7) the house always wins
8) mjabmo (Bond tracks down that Nigerian Email scammer)
9) fear
10) section 27 paragraph 5 (think about it)
