As for Shaken Not Stirred. I'm led to believe EON use it as the working title for every film their working on. I don't know how true that is of course.

What about "Risico" ?
Isn't that one of the remaining titles of a Fleming short story that has not been used yet ?
Or "The Quantum of Solace"? I always thought that would make quite a cool yet strange title for a film?

I don't think that's correct EON use that as a working title for each film. I remember during the pre-production period on TND there was a big rumour on the CORONA COMING ATTRACTIONS site that there was a fan treatment or script called "SHAKEN NOT STIRRED". So the whole thing may have snowballed from there. Anyway, don't EON always use "BOND # whatever" as the working title ?.Blue Eyes (12 Aug, 2001 09:02 a.m.):

2. No chapter titles and no gaga-titles like: Shaken not stirred, Nobody does it better, 007, Secret Services, ...
3. No lines from Title-Songs
4. No names from computer games
5. No titles from Gardner or Benson novels

This will be the next title if Eon keeps recycling Fleming's once-clever parodies of quotes.

Haha - good call on the "Shaft" reference, HowiePussy.
Now, I have a great question for all of you - how can you name a damn movie without knowing what the hell it's about??? This drives me nuts.

And there's no need for abstract titles like "Tomorrow Never Dies" or possible "Everything or Nothing"...they don't hold any significance

OR
Using a title with 'The Man From...' or 'The Man With...'
The title The Man From Barbarossa by John Gardner is probably one of the best titles on a Bond book!
The Man With The Golden Gun and The Man With The Red Tattoo is also great!
