Will he eat Mr. Bond's heart with a bottle of Cianti and some fava beans? We all know there's no way he'll go for Bond's liver.

Changing the Benson novel title to be NO TIME TO KILL or the second Tom Adams as Charles Vine movie WHERE THE BULLETS FLY.

Or how about these:
NEVER TIME TO KILL
ALWAYS TIME TO KILL
WHEN THERE'S TIME TO KILL
IF THERE'S TIME TO KILL
IF EVER THERE'S A TIME TO KILL
or
FISTICUFFS IN ALGIERS

Beyond The Limits perhaps?
I thought of it when I remembered that Die Another Day was going to be called Beyond The Ice.

Hey why not have a title related to the plot of the movie for a change?

Let's let Purvis and Wade come up with a plot description or a script first before we start titling the picture.

Exactly. That is what made Fleming's original titles so original-they were cleverly woven FROM the stories. For example I liked Die Another Day as a title, and its context, but an idea for a new story would be a great start before the titles start flying. Thanks for making that point, Triton.

I have to say Fisticuffs in Algiers gets my vote! Especially if they can make it without any fisticuffs in algiers.

What do you people think about the "Highly Classified" or "Classiefied" in it.

For Example: We do anything Highly Classified
For second Example: Classified at once

Or alone without other words "Highly Classified" as possible titel.

1) For Queen and Country (c/o Jar Jar Bond)
2) Property of a Lady
3) Spies in the Night - this is a song by the Manhattan Transfer in the early 80s which uses a modified Bond Theme as accompaniment.

These are mine, I think some are quite good:

[My] Private Spy - Would deal with the bond girl and bond having a more serious relationship and him looking out for her.
Spectre of the Past - Would have to do with an Ex-spectre agent.
Red Force Rising - Would have to do with a private army under the command of a Russian
Eye Spy - Would deal with hunting down another spy from another country (or the same perhaps)
Ace of Spades - Casino Royale esque adventure.
Stardust / Stardust Memory - Would have the bad guy's dealings have something to do with space.
Synergy / Synergy Surcease - Just look up the definition(s) and you will see the obvious plot options.
The Red Gambit - I don't know I just liked the title.
Shoot from the Hip / Straight for the Hip - Same
Pre-Mortem - Same
Spearhead - Same
Shadows Everlasting - Having to do with the effect nuclear weapons have when creating permanant shadows.

then there are some cliche titles like

No Time to Die
Hard Luck Woman
See No Evil
Hear No Evil
Speak No Evil
London Elegy
Russian Roulette

I really like: Spectre of the Past. That is the bondiest title in there

Quantum of solace - it's the only choice. Why go casting around for something new when there's still an untouched classic in the Fleming archives?

I really like "Spectre of the Past" I think they should make the next movie with that title. It is a bit cheesy, but in a cool way since it is a throwback to the old bond movies.

Quantum of Solace would never sell as a movie title. Neither would Risico.

Why can't they use Gardner/Benson titles? License Renewed might be a way of playing off of the DAD "You're suspended" shtick. Icebreaker, Nobody Lives Forever, Role of Honor, and Win, Lose, or Die were great titles. I liked Benson's The Facts of Death, High Time to Kill, and Never Dream of Dying, too.

Of course, there is the one unused Fleming title: CASINO ROYALE

And, there's also Colonel Sun, which would make a cool movie.

My favorite potential title comes from Martin Campbells 'GoldenEye':

Xenia Onatopp: "Enjoy it while it lasts."
James Bond: "Those are the words I live by."

1. 'Enjoy it While it Lasts'
2. 'A Means to An End'
3. 'Shatterhand'
4. 'A Whisper of Hate'
5. 'All to Play For'

Runners-up: 'Only Time Will Kill', 'Property of a Lady', 'Casino Royale', 'Everything or Nothing', 'Crashdive', 'All the Time in the World', 'For Queen and Country', 'The Sun Never Sets', 'Death Leaves an Echo' & 'Better Things Than Dying'.

It's from Casino Royale. If memory serves me right, it's a specific combination of cards. The correct formulation is A Whisper of Love/ A Whisper of Hate.

Whatever it is, it needs to be a good acronym, like TND or TWINE.

If history proves correct then they'll pull something from absolutely left field and usually its great - Tomorrow Never Dies was the most awesome title for a Bond movie. I mean just look at it, its perfect. I think the only one here with reasonable odds is Casino Royale which always has a 20/1 shot and will eventually be used.

Someone mentioned this awhile back (I haven't checked out this thread in a bit), and it's the one I immediately came up with in my mind when I was thinking about this a long time ago, and that was Blackjack. Yes I know, its kind of boring, but it makes sense, and it wouldn't be a horrible name for a bad guy, and it can bring Bond back into a casino for a change :).

I really like Along Came A Spy. However, To Die For is the name of a Nicole Kidman film from 1995. Ironically, two other films of the same name starred Caroline Munro and someone named Steve Bond. My No. 1 choice for a Bond title will always be Shatterhand, though.
