I think Tamahori was right when he said he doesn't think the bullet flying out towards the audience should be in the next movies -- that it was in DAD just because of the 40th Anniversary.

I don't think theres anything wrong with liking DAD's gunbarrel. Minchhjp is right on in that the music is great. I don't mind the bullet, but I agree with Tamahori, it's for the best that it doesnt return.

Lazenby's "unjustifiable swagger" with the slight head bob as he strolls across the screen, eventually taking to one knee to dispose of the enemy is an all-time classic... It will be very hard for any future gunbarrel to beat this one, as it is, in my opinion, the most memorable (not necessarily the best) in the franchise.
