Some more posters for ATS. Interesting how they used a picture of Brosnan from DAD.
Interesting posters there. The first one reminds me of the many "pre"-posters for The World Is Not Enough.

Yes very funny.
It was a very lightweight movie which really asked you to believe a lot. Stealing the damned diamond really didn't look that hard and if there was one guard actually sitting in the room itself, then it wouldn't have gone anywhere.
The to-ing and fro-ing were all there to see, and the heart ache was all a bit fluffy.
TCA is by far the better movie, not one for DVD, and Hayek was just gorgeous beyond belief. I wasn't bothered by her being in DAD when the stories were floating around but on that evidence............

Thoughts:
- Brosnan has becomme fatter. In addition, he should consider a body shave

- Why was Selma Hayek in the movie, except for showing her boobs into the camera

- I really though this was a more in-depth movie like "Thomas Crown", but except for the short scene in the end when Harrelson explains how he stole the dimaond, the movie was only about french kissing and enjoying life.
- I don't like Woody Harrelson.

- The death of that gangster boss, where did Harrelson and that other agent suddenly come from?
- I don't like Brosnan's way to kiss.
- The locations were great! Bond needs to go back to the Carribean!
- For Brett Ratner this movie was nothing to raise his position in Hollywood
- The remote control for the car - hommage to Tomorrow Never Dies?

- Some good dialogues, but most of them lengthy and boring
- In general the amazing and awesome locations helped to get the movie a better rating. Without those locales this movie would have been a total waste of time

As said, 5 out of 10.

Good fun! Nothing more, nothing less.
I have to say though, for a movie that underperformed in the US, the cinema was the most full I've seen it for ages [I caught Elektra on Friday night, which opened on Thursday with After The Sunset and there wouldn't have been any more than 10 people in the cinema].
Perhaps it fell apart a tad at the end, but I can't pinpoint where. Probably the tacked-on ending with Don Cheadle's character. Fortunately, the twist afterward made up for it.
Highlights? The fishing sequence got a huge laugh in the cinema, and I have to agree; when Brosnan goes to hurl the Esky, I was in stitches. Also, the closing heist and, of course, Brosnan and Harrelson in bed.
I actually wish there were more of these fun pictures around - - bit of action, bit of romance, bit of humour. Good fun.
Now roll on The Topkapi Affair!

A fun non-Bond Brosnan film.
