A View to a Kill.

That's interesting. How come A View to a Kill is your favorite, Octopussy?

I enjoy Christopher Walken and Grace Jones roles as the Villans, and Patrick McNee as Tibbett and the Paris and San Fransisco locations. I know it's not a fan favourite (Or Roger's) but I like it. B)

If you like it, it's all that matters. B)

I too think A View to a Kill has a strong cast, minus Tanya Roberts. May Day is another guilty pleaure of mine, as well.

Live and Let Die. Locations, villains, mood...Too bad Marvin Gaye is missing ! B)
Like about Craig, Moore isn't Ian Fleming's 007 but it works. One problem : the death of Big is a crap...

Interesting poll! I haven't seen the Spy who loved me yet - I've only seen 3 of Roger's to date. Live and let die - I voted as my favorite (so far), Octopussy which i thought was pretty naff and Moonraker which was even naffer B) Roger is fun to watch though, I enjoyed watching him although he's defintely not a stud like Daniel or Sean. He's got girly hands for one! :)Live and let die was extremely entertaining, its definately dated but I loved some of the scenes filmed in america and Jane S is beautiful in it. Mr B was a great villian although I agree his death was v silly. So far, Roger is my third favorite after Daniel and Sean

LALD. I always thought it was the sort of film Fleming himself would immensely enjoy. Moore's best performance as Bond in my opinion, though Kananga's death was extraordinarily lame. Not one of the better Bonds by a longshot, but a good intro to Roger's take on the character.

I love Octopussy. It has a great plot, acting, characters and the balance of humor and action is perfect. It's an underrated Bond film.
I also love TSWLM and FYEO.

I keep alternating between TMWTGG, TSWLM, MR and no others. I also think those are his best!

TSWLM is well ahead here but it's also great to see that FYEO is easily a solid 2nd on this list.

For Your Eyes Only, IMO, was kinda dull because they removed all the gadgets and humour

I don't think you can call it dull. It has some of the most beautiful & colourful locations, has a ski chase (including a fight while hurtling down a bobsled track), a helicopter stunt, dune buggy chase, cars being kicked off cliffs, an underwater battle, a warehouse siege and a hair-raising cliff climb.

It has humour and it does have gadgets. There is a fun scene with Q, Bond offering to buy Bibi an ice cream, fun chemistry between 007 and Columbo, Max the Parrot, the drunken guy with the wine watching Bond ski over a table, and the Mrs Thatcher scene at the end.

And there are a few gadgets - not least the Identigraph. Also the robotic divers suit and the aquasub that Bond & Melina use to investigate the sunken ship. Bond's watch doubles as a radio transmitter.

the villains are incredibly, INCREDIBLY useless. I don't find them menacing at all.

Really?
I find Kristatos one of the best villains of the series.

I can, do and will, although not because of a lack of gadgets or humour.

It has some of the most beautiful & colourful locations,

To my tastes nowhere near the most beautiful locations. And if there's one word I don't associate with FYEO it's "colourful".

has a ski chase (including a fight while hurtling down a bobsled track)

Something which has been done better in the series, before and since.

a helicopter stunt

I'll give you that one

dune buggy chase

OK

cars being kicked off cliffs

I suppose

an underwater battle

An exceptionally dull one

a warehouse siege

Ah, the glamour!

and a hair-raising cliff climb.

A great scene, I'll grant you. On the whole FYEO is quite watchable and by no means the worst of the series, but I also do genuinely find it quite dull.

1.Spy : pre-titles sequence. Jaws. Enough said.
2.Pussy: India is a great location, Gobinda is a great villain.
3.Eyes: Great cliff sequence, awesome score, car getting kicked off cliff is cold-blooded and badass

I always wished I was Mary Goodnight, peeping from the closet that sexy beast of Rog being a victim of Anders sexual assault.

What a lovely sentiment you have here... (and a slighly inaccurate one too). Maybe you should not join CBN just yet. Why not come back when your puberty has ended and you don't mistake naive and crude allusions to sex for debate.

The order changes constantly, but even the very WORST of Sir Roger's efforts is guaranteed to entertain me. He got it. He had style, panache, and was always, ALWAYS, in on the joke. A top man. A top Bond.

For what it's worth:

1. The Spy Who Loved Me (Moore in his prime. A never bettered Bond in any era)
2. Live And Let Die (Sentimental perhaps: First Bond I ever saw. Crocodile scene)
3. For Your Eyes Only (Locque had it coming! "Dig two graves.")
4. Octopussy (Just enormous fun from start to finish. Fun IS cool, kids!)
5. The Man With The Golden Gun ("I only need one Mr Bond". Sir Christopher Lee.)
6. A View To A Kill ("So, anyone else want to drop out?")
7. Moonraker ("You missed, Mr Bond." *body drops from tree* "Did I?")
