And then the stunt where the car flipped 180 degrees and then landed on the other side of the river was totally ruined by the cartoony music.
And then there was Mary Goodnight. Scatterbrained and absolutely ridiculous. How on earth could she possibly be working for MI6?
And Nick-nack, the pint-sized man. Watching him fight Bond at the end was just painful.
The best gadget Bond had was possibly the third nipple. Oh dear.
The Bond song was awful too.
What a disgrace. This is the worst Bond film I've ever seen.
I agree with a lot of your points Digitarius...of all the Roger Moore 007 movies TMWTGG is probably the weakest. However, my reason for believing this is the shoddy production design values.

I'm also happy that you like AVTAK which is a personal favorite of mine.

Besides I have always thought the TSWLM overated. It was made better as YOLT

I cannot agree. I think they corrected a lot of the flaws with YOLT when they made TSWLM.

great moments...
locations! music! bond sleeping with a woman with one in the closet! christopher lee! some great one-liners! one of the more interesting stories in my opinion. also, moore at his best in my opinion. of course there are many downsides to this movie, but these are some major plusses.

I'm sorry, it was the sixties. The space race was at its hight. Barry did the music (no disco ****). Every set was a Ken Adam masterpiece culminating in the Volcanoe. It was set in Japan. Freddie Young's photography (He did Lawrence of Arabia!!!) Peter Hunt was still editing the series. And above all Connery. No contest
Not a fan of the Moonraker end-title?

Well said. YOLT is infinitely superior to TSWLM (although that doesn't mean that TSWLM isn't entertaining stuff in its own right).
