Connery IS 007 & has never been better, sinister locations, plenty of unexpected turns ALL the actors playing totally believable people.

1. Goldfinger
2. OHMSS
3. Thunderball
4. From Russia with Love
5. Die Another Day

I grew up in the Connery era and I must admit that DAD, from my view, is the best Bond in a very long, long time. It beats Connery's YOLT & DAF. I left the theatre after seeing DAD saying wow! Goldeneye was good but Brosnan's middle two have never grown on me. I give an honourable mention to Moore's The Spy Who Loved Me and Dalton's Living Daylights.

Strange... DAD seems to get bashed so much, yet it appears on more than 50% of everyone's top 5.
