DAD, TWINE, GE, GF, FRWL.... not necessarily in that order (they tend to move) but pretty much solidified as my top 5.

Hmmm... This might be a little tough for me but I'll give it my best;)

1. Dr. No
2. Die Another Day
3. The World Is Not Enough
4. The Spy Who Loved Me
5. From Russia With Love

And the ones that just missed it...

Goldfinger
GoldenEye
For Your Eyes Only

Jeez, Now I feel bad:( ... But then again, all 8 of these films tend to slip around here and there

I like your line up of bond films RayBros007, I just think that everyone seems a little hasty to add DAD to their list (I am not attacking anyone just stating). Being as DAD seems such a popular choice mabe we could list a few things as to why it beats a classic such as TSWLM or GF. And in your opinions will there be any moments that will go down in cinematic history such as. TSWLM Parachute ski jump or the lazer in GF or the bungee jump in Goldeneye.

I can see the TMWTGG didn't make anyones list. I can not believe that Thunderball is on so few lists. "I think he got the point". That movie just straight ROCKS!

1. Thunderball --- Classic
2. Goldfinger --- Also a classic
3. For Your Eyes Only --- The Only Roger Moore film that borrows a little from Fleming's work.
4. OHMSS -- Just a great movie, even without Connery.
5.TWINE and TSWLM -- big and bigger.

MY TOP FIVE FAVORITE BONDS:
1) Die Another Day
2) The World Is Not Enough
3) Thunderball

Now, this doesn't mean to say that I don't love the other ones...

IN MY OPINION, THE FIVE BEST BONDS:
1) From Russia With Love

3) On Her Majesty's Secret Service
4) Goldfinger

In no particular order:

Goldeneye
TSWLM
DAD
Thunderball
OHMSS

Some close finishes would also include FYEO, Octopussy, TND (but this changes weekly also).

but to echo Zencat's earlier comment "this changes weekly"

I'll ruffle a few feathers with this list, as there's no Connery in it:

1. GE.
2. TWINE.
3. LTK.
4. TND.
5. TLD.

And DAD comes in at number 8.

Eh, my list changes often. Mostly upon repeated viewings of some of the movies. But nonetheless (in no specific order)...

- Die Another Day
- Tomorrow Never Dies
- For Your Eyes Only
- Goldeneye
- The World Is Not Enough

I'm mainly a Broz fan. What can I say? :)

The movies that rank right under that (at this point) are pretty much all Roger Moore films. He's great.

Here's my top 5, kinda controversial...
1. Die Another Day - even after 4 viewings, I still love. Maybe becuase i cant see it as much as teh otehr 19, but its awesome. The first 20 minutes are so different, its great, teh Blades figth is awesome, just a cool movie.

2. DIamonds Are Forever - I love vegas, I love this movie. This really showed Bond was larger than life (in teh elevator shaft, u could see his shadow on teh street, and when we see him naked before eh gets in bed with Tiffany). Yes, its not really a "traditional" Bond film, but its fun to watch. And come on, COnnery calling a woman a Bitch? gotta love it.

3. Moonraker - Venice and Brazil are great, and the space stuff just shows Bond can do anything. Just a fun moie ot watch

4. Goldfinger - Pussy Galore

5. Licence To Kill - Bond goes badass. U can see teh hate in him, just waitng to explode. Feels liek its not a Bond film, but it's funt o watch.

Here are my favourite James Bond Films...(haha!)

1. A View To A Kill - Moore's Bond in his prime
2. Octopussy - Bond dressed as a clown...quality!
3. Licence To Kill - Just for the theme song
4. On Her Majesty's Secret Service - "That never happened to the other fella" or whatever he bloody says
5. Never Say Never Again - The steamiest sex scene (apart from DAD) in a Bond flick...I say!

1. Licence to Kill(Dalton wanted to capture the spirit of Ian Flemming, he did it, Bond is tough, and you get to see that like never before, while staying true to the character, a Bond film I say you appreciate more as a adult, when you really appreicate Bond is seeing his wife killed again in the eyes of Felix and what happened to Dela, it's got a hidden psychological character study of Bond within the thriller. Very real in the modern world, Sanchez mirror image of Bond-flemming elements, and Dario great addition, you feel these characters are in the real world, yet there's still fantasy-escapism element in there, as you put your minds through the eyes of these characters who live on the edge of the dangerous world of flemming.

2. The Living Daylights (Dalton in a classic good spy thriller with famous Bond elements, most entertaining and rewatchable Bond film, actually it ties with LTK for me, but 2nd in this thread for the top 5 purposes.
3. Dr No
4. From Russia with Love
5. Goldfinger (Connery's first 3 films kinda has everything Bond films need)

In Spirit of Ian Flemming. "I wanted to capture the spirit of Ian Flemming." Timothy Dalton.

Favorite Bond film of Dalton that he's menstioned "From Russia With Love."

Apart from those comments, I'm pleased with my top 5 choice, they've all got great moments for the character of Bond, but in the spirit of Ian flemming, plus damn good films I enjoy.
