Cary Grant was British. So that's probably why he was considered, that and the fact he was best man at Cubby's wedding.

The only two American actors I can imagine to play Bond are David Keith and James Caviezel.

I think he would make a horrible Bond, but he would make a good cia field officer assigned to work with Bond. I think it would be good seeing that after seeing his Mission Impossible movies.

Tom Cruise is a midget, 2, his not great with women , just ask his 2 former wifes. Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers. Bond has to be 6' in high . Connery, Lazenby , Moore Dalton and Brosan fit the bill. 3 and most important, 1 might vomit at the screen once he utters "My name is Bond..... James Bond." Just the thought should make one sick.:cool:
