anyway, back to the thread.
Where are you? Why do you hide?
Where is that moonlight trail that leads to your side?
Just like the Moonraker goes in search of his dream of gold,
I search for love, for someone to have and hold.
Niles, do u by any chance know the lyrics to the Bond Theme? i bet you do....

Felt your touch and it always seems
You love me
You love me
Where are you? When will we meet?
Take my unfinished life and make it complete
Just like the Moonraker knows his dream will come true someday
I know that you are only a kiss away

In a right bovver boy accent...
London calling
Its a faraway town
War is declared and battle come down
London calling to something er other (sounds like herald) the world
Come out of the covers
Boys and girls
yada yada yada, lost interest at that point as I was still reeling by the fact that a British Aiways ad that had somehow got spliced into the movie.
Live by the river...
Ominous music cuing the entrance of the bad guy
The lyrics to the Bond theme: Easy peasy
Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun
dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun
dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun
dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun
Dahnaar!!!! Dun Dun Dun
Now of course the Bond theme from Dr NO has a few more brwan nan nan da narrs in it, but its a variation.
I feel your fire (dah na nah nah nan na nah)
in a thousand dreams
felt your touch and it all ways seems you love me, you love me
A challenge anybody?

Where are you? When will we meet?
Take my unfinished life and make it complete.
Just like the Moonraker knows his dream will come true someday,
I know that you are only a kiss away. hmm this has been done already. never mind....

The "I feel the fire verse" is the end of the song.
However you did stump me on the Bond Theme. I always thought the twangy bit was written especially for the bit where James wanders onto the screen and shoots at you.
But I do remember that there was always a bit of controversy re the penmanship of the theme. Was it Monty or John Barry? Some one more motivated than me can work that one out.
Perhaps what you are refering to is the story that John Barry was approached to write the gun barrel scene for DR NO (as he was hot in England with his jazz group called imaginatively enough "The John Barry Seven Jazz Group") and borrowed the tune from his previously recorded "Beas's Knees" instrumental (indicating perhaps a lack of lyrics). Just a thought?
And now for a really easy one...
"He's tall and he's dark
And like the shark, he looks for trouble
That's why the zeros double..."

He's tall and he's dark,
And like a shark, he looks for trouble,
That's why the zero's double,
Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
He's suave and he's smooth
And he can soothe you like vanilla.
The gentleman's a killer.
Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
Damoiselles and danger
Have filled the stranger's past.
Like a knife he cuts thro' life
Like ev'ry day's the last.
He's fast and he's cool.
He's from the school that loves and leaves 'em,
A pity if it grieves 'em.
Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang's not a fool.
Oh, damoiselles and danger
Have filled the stranger's past.
Like the knife he cuts thro' life
Like ev'ry day's the last.
He's fast and he's cool.
He's from the school that loves and leaves 'em,
A pity if it grieves 'em.
Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang's not a fool.
No, he's no fool.
He's no fool.
He is no fool.
