Haha - season ticket would be very nice....

Well, the first time I saw DAD, I attended the East Coast Premiere in Baltimore (that ticket was $100, which my aunt paid for). Then, the next three times, I saw it at the theatre down the road from my school, where admission was only $4 each time. The next two times, tickets cost $8.50, but my aunt paid for those two times. The next time I saw it with my uncle, who paid (and I can't remember how much the ticket was then...), and the next two times after that, $9.00 per ticket.

Agh, you're all going to laugh, and I mean *really* laugh, but I don't really like these new bands. I have heard Props music, and it is good, just not my cup of tea, I dunno, but still, quite good music. I like Classic Rock, for example, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Status Quo, The Animals etc etc. You can laugh if you want, I get it all the time:o. As as for where I am GWTGG, I'm in the UK, but you won't know where abouts, if I try to explain, we'll be here for ever! (Ok, its sort of near the border with Wales, if you know where I mean....):)

in comparison, this thread's only 4 pages, and i didn't think (or expect) anyone would reply!

You used to say live and let live.
(You know you did, you know you did, you know you did)
But if this ever-changing world in which we live in
Makes you give in and cry,
Say live and let die!
Live and let die,
Live and let die,
Live and let die.

and 4 any british ppl reading this thread, in honour of last tuesday (which i missed, doh!)...

See reflections on the water,
More than darkness in the depths,
See him surface in every shadow,
On the wind I feel his breath,

GoldenEye (DA DUM!) I've found his weakness,
GoldenEye, he'll do what I please,
GoldenEye no time for sweetness,
But a bitter kiss will bring him to knees

You'll never know, how I watched you from the shadows as a child,
You'll never know how it feels to be the one who's left behind,
You'll never know the days, the nights, the tears, the tears I've cried,
But now my time has come, and time, time is not on your siiiiiiiide!

Becks, where are you? I miss you!

Dum-Dum-Dum-Dum!

Dum-Dum-Dum-Dum!
See him move through smoke and mirrors
Feel his presence in the crowd
Other girls, they gather around him
If I had him, I wouldn't let him out

Goldeneye, not lace or leather
Golden chains take him to the spot
Goldeneye, I'll show him forever
It'll take forever to see what I've got . . . .

Not quite in the rules of the game according to Hoyle, but an interesting challenge...

Pack your face, save your case and your place in the ever after...

There hallowed halls are lined with walls that are cracked by the myriad's laughter...

Always wished they had gone back and rerecorded those lyrics.

Why did I call my dog Orpheus?

Cos he Offenbachs... Boom Boom

Thought that one would stump you. It is not technically a Bond title song, but it is a Bond song.

"Everybody's gone insane to catch a plane to make the heavens closer"

"They want the Kingdom, but they don't want the King, the want his throne"

"There is no time.... there is no time at all"

There must be somebody out there...?

Come on guys... I want a bit of the Bond British hurrah. This was my first ever Bond at the cinema and boy did I cop it for liking Bond rather than the diva of the day (and no I am not telling you what diva it was as that would date me and give away my evil secret of the ghastly lyrics). Come on guys.. or the ashes of your memoirs will be strewn across the lawn. It's terrifying stuff isn't it?

Mojito - i'm GMT (of course). its 3.45pm here now, so what time is it where u are? (or, what time would it be where u are, when its 3.45pm here?)

niles - the lyrics aren't from that Red Flag version of Die Another Day, by any chance? c'mon Niles, lend us a hand! especially us young 'uns!!! it can't be The Clash, deffo not any of Connery's Bonds, maybe Rog's, not sure about Tim's... according to your profile, could it be from TSWLM?? this is eating me alive here! lets have a clue; a year, the artist, oh and maybe THE FILM might help!

When I talked to you on New Year's Eve, you said it was 9:30 over there, but over here (I think) it was around 4:30 or 5:00 . . . .

And I thought you guys were Bond fans. Tut, tut, tut

Do you remember the evil bad guy henchman who fell out of an airoplane... mmm (not that that narrows it down much)

Do you remember he was always listening to his walkman... mmm

You don't... Oh you are just pretending.

What were you guys doing between the end of Remington Steele and and Goldeneye? (and before you ask I was at school and I loved Tim and his dark, different, so un Mookrakerish, back to the original Fleming movies).

Those particularly unique lyrics come from a song written by The Pretenders for The Living Daylights. And what a crack up of a song it was too. At the time I thought it was the most coolest, evilest song ever written in the history of music. I look back now and think "dear Lord", but hey it was the late eighties: Madonna was being material and had no fencing ambitions, Pierce was making The Fourth Protocol, Communism was crashing around our ears... it was a young and innocent time.

Did I mention I have a sick addiction to movie soundtracks..?

Where has everybody gone
I've got this feeling, going in my here on my own
Where is my support now
Where are my ranks so strong

Heh...

In this faceless crowd, where can I belong

Everybody's gone insane to catch a plane to make the heavens closer
They want the kingdom, but they don't the king. They want his throne

There is no time
There is no time at all

Funky eighties guitar

With great pleasure I sing your national song
Because you are beautiful and will soon be long gone
And the ashes of your memoirs will be stewn across the lawn

But what lyrics? What were these people on? Would that type of lunacy be allowed in the new infomercial Bond era?

For years after I had seen TLD at the cinema, "Where has everybody gone" stuck in my head. At the time I thought of it as Jim's theme, me and my mates used to refer to Necros as Jim (you may remember Jim Robinson from neighbours) LOL - ah memories
