This, I hope, will remain the most unattractive image I read all week. :eek:Originally posted by iceberg
But in OP, it's not so much tongue in cheek, as tongue plunging through the cheek, to emerge on the other side.

1. Musical score (Title track was fine though)
2. Lack of action
3. Action didn't feel right (except for opening sequence)
4. Only 1 sex scene (and it was badly placed in the film. Bond meant to go after the Goldeneye times running out)
5. One-liners not up to par
6. Good story idea but not done as good as it could be
7. Camera work lacked imagination
8. Model work looked unconvincing
9. Sets not that great compared to previous bond films and rest of Brosnan bonds
10. Not great performance by Brosnan doing Bond. (Since then he has nailed the part.)
11. Cinematography lacked excitement.
12. I seem to fall asleep watching this Bond film.

I however have my own special candidate, for me if i had to pick one I mean come on is there any doubt?
NSNA NSNA NSNA
And to be truthful it is not even close
As far as the "official" Bond movies go, I would say that somehow TWINE just annoys me, it is that stupid Denise Richards. God what were they thinking?
Anyway TWINE was a perfectly good Bond and she ruined it. I still like it, but she annoys me. I am also annoyed by the Stacy Sutton character in AVTAK, but not nearly as much as Richards annoyed me.
So I guess in terms of being annoyed TWINE would win. All thanks to the idiot who cast Richards.

1. LTK
2. TWINE
3. TND
I bought the DVD for LTK wothout seeing the movie - man did I make a mistake, even the DVD special features are awful. "DELLA!" - yeah he sounded quite wimpy on that one - and Carey Lowell as a BOND girl - ugly/boring and completely sexless - dare I say more than MAYDAY?!
Only redeeming factors for LTK are Q's invaluable assistance, stunts involving the trucks, and Talisa Soto.
AVTAK had probably the best music score - some really good stunts and the plot is still relevant today, just like the energy-crisis plot for TMWTGG - this movie also contains the best stunt of all time with the AMC vehicle.
Roger looked a lot better in AVTAK than Sean did NSNA. Still unbelievable the amount of hated that is directed at Roger's portrayal of James Bond...
MR didn't contain the best dialogue - but it is better than any Timothy movie and better than DAF and NSNA.
Roger Moore is James Bond.

02) A View To A Kill
03) The Man With The Golden Gun
04) Die Another Day
05) Moonraker
Are the ones that I've enjoyed the least.

3.DAF- Connery shouldn't have done this he was just too old, lazenby could have done this far better
2.Ltk- "Nice Honey mooooon" just too americanised bond, more like an eighties cop film, tackey moments (bullet bond sound) and a bland bond girl
1.Thunderball- Just drags on
These are a lot of small niggles rather than a hatred of the films as i can pick out bad points in almost all of the films, but i would rather watch ANY bond film over probably any other action film.
Also my worst films usually alter as after i watch one of my "worst" i usually remove it from my worst list and replace it with another, for example until recently moonraker was on there but so long as you forget about the bad bits, such as the stupid space laser battle the film is not that bad.
My main critisim is that some films just seem to drag in places, a prime example being TWINE but there are usually good bits in the films which cancel out the bad, such as the jetpack in thunderball and the boat chase in TWINE.

1-Diamonds Are Forever
2-Diamonds Are Forever
3-The Sound of Music
(I know that #3 is not a Bond film, but, neither are #1 or 2.)
* Honorable mention to You Only Live Twice and Live and Let Die.

If I had to pick the worst, it would be TMWTGG. Why?
1. Weak plot, production values look cheap, movie looks rushed
2. "The dark side of Bond"? Where? Nowhere in evidence in Moore's bland performance. The scene where he smacks Maud Adams still doesn't convince me he's tough. I would've kicked him in the family jewels.
3. Sumo wrestlers, the posterior-squeezing of. Not remotely funny.
4. Herve Villachaize as a villain. 'Nuff said.
5. Mary Goodnight. 'Nuff said.

the Bond films generally considered "lightweight" such as MR & MWTGG
move along and contain some wonderful Bondian moments. For my money
the one Bond that I consider the worst is THUNDERBALL, for the reason that it is the most BORING bond. The shrublands scenes lack tension
as do the underwater "action" sequences which crawl at a snail's pace
compared to other Bonds. Claudine Auger although pretty is perhaps the dullest Bond girl of all time! But the worst aspect has to be that Connery
himself seems quite bored throughout the entire film. For me, Luciana
Paluzzi is the only reason to watch it. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Ridiculous villians
OTT CGI stunts(I think we've covered this)
unsexy women
invisible cars
a tired and old, doing it for the money star
Jinx is James Bond with Boobs and not interesting
I have the DVD in a package sent to me by a DVD club. I'm going to send it back. I don't want it, certainly not for $25-30 after shipping costs.Anyone want it?

I liked TWINE's pretitle but it is also a bad film.Brosnan's least appealing performance as Bond.If I have to wait 3 years for mediocredy than I may stop caring about this series...
TND is also pretty weak but it was entertaining. Stupid villian, unsexy women, really bad last act.Made in '97 and already dated.
Goldeneye was vastly over praised. It's a joyless film. Brosnan looks constipated. That scene is the sauna is embarrassing. Sean would have slapped her silly and then given her a good rogering! Roger, George and Tim too!
Conclusion:Brosnan era films are the least appealing. I don't enjoy rewatching them like I do with all the other films.

Peter Sellars takes the prize as the WORST James Bond.
Regarding the Eon Productions 007 series, you have to consider the time in which the movie was made. Although some films have cringe worthy moments, these same films have action sequences and eye candy that make up for their low points. For example, The Man with the Golden Gun has some truly terrible and cringe worthy moments, especially those with JW Pepper, but the film redeems itself with the exciting chase through the "clongs" of Bangkok and the breath-taking scenary of Phuket and the "James Bond" islands.
The worst James Bond films are still better than 97% of the action films released in the past 40 years.

I always seem to not mention TMWTGG, which has gotten a fairly weak reputation. I always looked upon this film in the series as the one where Bond feels like he is on holiday and so for that reason it lends a pleasentness to the film and so I cannot name it as a worst Bond film.
