alas, my dear wife told me to take off the tux (too much overkill from her perspective) before heading off for our "civilized" evening of fine dining and bond.
interesting to read this thread after 9 months.
a lot has happened to me since...
what i failed to mention is that after opening night with my wife, i took my girl friend/lover/partner-in-an-affair to see DAD the following night (TWICE!)

a week later my wife and i separated.
two weeks after that, said girl friend moved into my new condo. (still harbouring ill feelings, i may add, for taking my WIFE to see DAD on opening night INSTEAD of HER!)
1 month after that, said girl friend (who'd once been a stripper in her early 20s, i later found out) trashed my place as well as my BMW and had to have a restraining order placed against her.
Oh, there's soo much more juicy stuff...but i'd need a month to type it out.
NEEDLESS TO SAY, i'd seen DAD 6 times in total during this tumultous time
Die Another Day kept me going during a very bitter-sweet period in my life.
it will remain an UNFORGETABLE movie for me.
as James Bond, i will (and have) return(ed) !!!!
