Lazenby in second Bond.
Dalton in third Bond.
Craig in fifth Bond.

Tarantino's CASINO ROYALE.
ANY additional Connery/Young film (the latter had an idea for a 'last' Bond film that would work ideally for Connery but could work for Moore, back around 1980 I think.)
Eric Braeden in OHMSS (and probably the next dozen, he'd know to stick with a good thing and I would have been happy with him as Bond for the next couple decades at least.)
FYEO with Dalton.

Lazenby in FYEO.
There, I said it.

Probably a 3rd Dalton though "what" that might have been I have no idea (that old GE script that was knocking around many years ago?). I think his portrayal deserved a confident effort, and by that not a script written with perhaps someone else in mind (TLD), and not one that seems to buffeted by the market-place around it (LTK).
I've never been convinced on a SC-OHMSS. I've said before that IMHO his Bond had outgrown the sense of vulnerability, almost naivety, that Laz's has and to an extent, it's those traits that make OHMSS work. Sure the SC of FRWL would have been a classic, but the bored, tubby, disinterested SC/Bond of YOLT, I don't think so.
So in the interest of discussion, FRWL-SC in OHMSS is my new answer.........

If Connery had made OHMSS, I doubt we'd have had Diana Rigg.
Rigg was brought in as a "name" and as a professional to counterbalance the inexperienced and unknown Lazenby.
Sean was peeved enough at Honor Blackman being in Goldfinger, as he was concerned at potentially being upstaged by a well-established and experienced actress. Blackman had years of movie experience already ( far more than Connery at that point) and was a hot property after The Avengers.
If he'd agreed to do OHMSS, I suspect he would have had a great more clout by that stage and his ego would not have stood for it a second time...

A 5th Brosnan film in 2004
EA's Everything or Nothing softens the blow for me. It's Brosnan's last original adventure - with his voice and likeness provided. The game itself is well made and fun, too.

A 3rd Dalton film in 92 would have definitely helped me get over a 5th Brosnan film. That hiatus is like a hole in the heart of a Bond fan isn't it?

Intolerable for me, a survivor of the 2 1/2 years between TMWTGG and TSWLM.
I was so desperate for 007 that by 1994 I had embraced Spymaker and Casino Royale '67. Thank God for CR '54 and Goldeneye: The Life of Ian Fleming!

That first 3 year gap would have stunk. Probably what it was like for fans when YOLT came out 2 years later rather then one. I remember when I was 16 and DAD finally came out, felt like forever.
How about PB in 86.

Here in the US, there wasn't much Bond news after "Thunderball." As far as we knew, Bond was finished. It wasn't until early '67 that we generally heard that Connery would be back in YOLT, and that news was largely due to the release of CR '67.

The YOLT of the book could make quite a film...
Another Brosnan would have been welcome, but for (a) it not being like the latter portions of DAD, and ( not wasting CR on a mature, older Bond.
More Lazenby films, yet, but not at the expense of Connery's DAF -- which was great fun.
Going against the grain -- ending Moore's run after OP -- which was great fun, whereas VTOAK was, but for some good bits, not nearly as good.
Another Dalton EXCEPT not just a tv-drug-cop movie like LTK. That one was such a dull waste of various talents.
Another Connery in this sense -- that they had given him more time off, and done a better job of addressing his concerns (overly long shooting schedules, for one), so as to get him more enthusiastically involved than he was in the 67 YOLT...They could have made OHMSS with him, then the YOLT of the book.
Of course, a lot of this would not fit were it all done. We have what actually was done...a wild spoof with howmanyBonds ??? in the 67 CR, a brilliantly fun and enthusiastic return of Connery in DAF, a terrific Lazenby single film, Sir Roger giving a great fun film before going (here it comes) A Film Too Far, the dramatic sadness of the waste of Dalton in two films, particularly the second, the strange "haven't they learned from this before ?" going overboard in DAD, the decision to release a film "damn the writer's strike full speed ahead" with QOS. Were ALL the films brilliant, would any of them shine ?
By the way -- no second Barry Nelson "Jimmy Bond" needed, thanks...

Dalton in FYEO.
Dalton in AVTAK.
(I think OP suits Roger too well)
A fun, stand-alone Craig film between QOS and SF.
A fun 5th Craig film not directed by Mendes and not scored by Newman.
(fingers crossed)

Connery in OHMSS.
Lazenby in second Bond.
Dalton in third Bond.
Craig in fifth Bond.
Of those options, definitely Dalton in a 3rd Bond film circa 1992.
Lazenby in FYEO.
There, I said it.
Would Savalas reprise his role as Blofeld in the PTS of a Lazenby FYEO?
If Connery had made OHMSS, I doubt we'd have had Diana Rigg.
Rigg was brought in as a "name" and as a professional to counterbalance the inexperienced and unknown Lazenby.
Sean was peeved enough at Honor Blackman being in Goldfinger, as he was concerned at potentially being upstaged by a well-established and experienced actress. Blackman had years of movie experience already ( far more than Connery at that point) and was a hot property after The Avengers.

As fond as I am of both Connery and Miss Rigg, I can't really picture those 2 having chemistry together. Definitely one of the great "alternate universe/what if?" questions in Bond cinema history.
Speaking of OHMSS: it may sound like sacrilege but I would have rather seen Catherine Deneuve as Tracy, I think she's much closer to the idea of a girl out of balance.
French blond Catherine Deneuve would have definitely been much closer to the Tracy character that Ian Fleming actually wrote in OHMSS.
Dalton in FYEO.
Dalton in AVTAK.
(I think OP suits Roger too well)
Agreed about Dalton in FYEO and about keeping Moore in OP. For such a scenario to have come about, FYEO and OP would probably have had to switch places in filming order. However, I can't really picture Dalton in AVTAK without a massive script rewrite/overhaul prior to filming.

Rigg is one of my least fVorite things about OHMSS.
Rigg was great, but if i had to make a criticism it's that she never really moved the character beyond to notion that Tracy was a spoilt rich daddy's girl. Perhaps that was enough, but we'll never know how much further another actress might've elevated the character.
But it's not exactly her fault. Seydoux's Madaline in Spectre was a virtually identical character, but was given more material to establish that her father's lifestyle had made her life pretty crap and so we can sympathise more with her. Tracy's father seemed to have a damned cushy life of luxury with no apparent threat, so why was tracy hitting out at it so self destructively.
Maybe you could extrapolate further that perhaps Tracy would've worked even better had she been given such plausible motivation for her self destructive tendencies and equally Seydoux's character might've been more 3-dimensional if she'd had a little of Tracy's self destructiveness; she does seem a little too well adjusted for someone brought up in such violent and tragic circumstances.
But with what she had in the script i think Rigg did a fine job.
Connery in OHMSS.
Lazenby in second Bond.
Aren't they mutually exclusive
......................
My regrets: Lewis Collins in Octopussy.
Hopkins and Rutger Hauer as villains.
Queen performing a Bond theme.

I had read somewhere that EON wanted Connery and Bridget Bardot in OHMSS. That tops my wishlist.
Lazenby in DAF and TMWTGG.
Sam Neil in AVTAK and perhaps FYEO, though that is Moore's best acting, and OP is definitely signature Roger.
A 30th anniversary Dalton film would have rounded out a Timothy trilogy in 1992 quite nicely.
I'm fine with Brosnan at four films.
Right now, I want a fifth Craig in a faithful YOLT adaptation. At no other time has the series been set up to take on The Death Collector and The Garden of Death.

Lazenby in Diamonds are Forever.
Dalton Bond Film #3 in 1991.
Dalton Bond Film #4 in 1993.
Brosnan Bond film #5 in 2003 (with a great script).
Craig in at least one more ( I wouldn't mind two more)!
