He does sound very enthusiastic about it all.  Put the interviewer right about gadgets in Bond books (DB3 notwithstanding), and moved along briskly.

He said he has the first line in mind already, that it is a terrific first line, and that it is a large part of why he wants to write a second one.  Without sharing how it is I happen to know this first line, I am willing to share it here...it does not give away the ending, so I do not thing I am engaging in spoiling it for anyone.  Here it is:

 

"It was a dark and stormy night."

 

I know, right ?  Yes, who would not be hooked ?!!?
