That is actually one of the best ads I´ve ever seen, with wonderful LALD, GF, and TMWTGG homages.

Magnificent!

Haha, goodness me, Heinekan really do well with their 007 partnership! 'Skyfall' blew it out the water with their commercial, and now another imaginative one! Very good. :)

Daniel Craig seemingly enjoying the more Moorelike humour in the ad. Some people not understanding the Nick Nack cameo. Isn't that a reference to Dr No appearing in the one for Skyfall? A Roger Moore era villain being more fitting for the tone of the advert than anyone else

That's a great advert!

Does anyone else really like Craig's hair in it?

I think you're probably correct. They do a good job of the ads, fair play to them. Always nice when a product partner does their bit and doesn't resort to cheap tat.

Well put together, fun advert. This would be a real crowd pleaser playing before screenings of SPECTRE.

Looks like they dragged Lewis Gilbert out of the old folks home for this one! Most appreciated.

Very fun.

Interesting to see Craig in action as Bond with a longer haircut. Having seen it, I think that the CR/QOS/SP length is the right choice.

Craig is my second favorite bond , but he doesn't look like bond in that ad video! His hair even longer than in CR or SP ..

Definitely more pleasing on the eye.

That's a great advert!

Yeah. IMO it's the most Bond-like Craig has looked to date.

Just one nitpick:

Craig's Bond doesn't run from anyone.

Oh, so that´s what was strange about it. Couldn´t put my finger on it. But that´s it. He usually runs after people, not from them. Quite right.

Hey, in the 'Skyfall' ad we saw Craig's Bond running from 2 Russian goons through a train remember. :P

Oh yeah. That´s what was wrong with it as well ;)

Cool ads nonetheless :)

Yes, in another Heineken advert.

(Before anyone jumps me: yes, I remember that Bond flees goons twice in QoS - but when Craig chases, it's the goons' turn to run.)

He´s usually trying to lead them somewhere, like a rooftop or a opera restaurant/Kitchen, or the Carrara quarry ;)

What a great commercial!  The funniest part for me was when she threw the hat at him and Craig's face.  Priceless.  :D

TVI it's channel nº4 on portuguese TV system. It was at 21:24. I'm trying to capture it through playing it on my PC because it's not even on Gillette's youtube.

Just seen it. Awful, awful ad that mixes boxing (?) with an old DBS (?) and a lot of ill made references; a guy that wouldn´t be Bond in a Fox production and another guy that seems to be camping in Nepal or whatever. Awful, awful ad. Don´t bother. Not a single image from the film, BTW. Aren´t these guys aware of what they´re advertising? How do these people keep their jobs? Don Draper would go mad with a campaign like that. Doesn´t even look like something from Gillette. The Heineken ad was, hands down, the better production.

I just "screen captured" it. If any other guys want to take a look:

https://www.dropshots.com/mummyboy11

I've quickly open an account here to share it with you guys but surely in a short time it will be on youtube.

The voice-off says:

«I observe everything.

I remember every detail.
I believe that even the way a man shaves in the morning is worth being observed.»

Don't know if it's really from IF...

@univex   "Yes. I agree there's a lot of stuff going on in the clip, but just the Ian Fleming signature and the casino scene makes me happy!"

Very interesting, thanks mummyboy11.

The voiceover is a quote from Fleming's Playboy interview: "Exact details of individual private lives and private tastes are extremely interesting to me. I think that even the way a man shaves in the morning is well worth recording."

I don't think any of those guys in the ad are meant to be Bond, they're just portraying the sorts of characters that Fleming found interesting; fighters, explorers, etc. Interesting that these ad men are remembering Fleming instead of focusing on the new film (the Heineken ad still wins for me, though!).
