We'll get some Aston shots for certain. The bits we've seen filming of Bond backing out of the palace with the guards firing at him from above looked great so I'm hoping for that. The plane

Which is to say, if you want to discuss the trailer, then it is understood you've seen it and are then, by definition, already Spoiled?  What's the other thread for?

The other thread was there first, so rather than move it into the spoilers section, I started this.

FB & YT will explode shortly thereafter and we may have to kick in the Q Branch afterburners here at CBn.

 

Bond isn't back yet, but he's damn well on his way.

So bloody excited for this. Nice to have an official countdown! Really excited to get our first proper look at the cinematography. There's been rumours that there's no action in the trailer, (' Lack of action' always seems to crop up at some point during the production of recent Bond films) seems a bit of a strange idea, which is why I probably think it's not true. More then happy for a dramatic trailer though, but it is an action series at the end of the day.  Really excited to hear the music as well. Fingers crossed for something akin to the GoldenEye and Casino Royale teaser trailers!

I've been watching the other Craig era teaser trailers, and they did show quite a bit considering the brief run time.

Well that's my Friday eve sorted!

 

'Skyfall' really knocked it out of the park for me as a teaser because it did just that, and teased pretty much every crucial part of the film with minimal footage. I hope for something like this...hell, ANYTHING will be good because anticipation for this is so high right now!

 

Wonder how/if Waltz will be teased, like the silhouette of Bardem in the teaser for 'SF'.

I've seen the "no action" rumour - for some reason it rings true to me. I can see them going this way - A dramatic, enigmatic trailer that stands apart from the rest.

I've seen the word "moody" used about it too.

I think it has been shot, the set was ready back in January. My guess is it will be the main focus of the teaser trailer.

It would be a damn good way to reintroduce SPECTRE - especially if the trailer is dark and moody. No better way.

That's all that's needed - if this is a real return for SPECTRE, then it will do well to step back from the bang bang bang thrills of the 'Skyfall' teaser and play it really calm, really cool and really chilling - these are the big boys of the Bond baddies and a well made teaser can easily reflect that.

To be honest, the Skyfall teaser wasn't really all bang bang bang thrills, until the final seconds that was a montage showcase of the action scenes. It was fairly dark and almost borderline thriller-esque.

Yeah I guess so - it was a good teaser though. Not really sure what I meant by that statement - just too excited and brain is throwing loads of ideas around how it could look!

I think the idea of just hearing Waltz' voice in the trailer would be so brilliant considering we've seen no set images or anything visual wise for Oberhauser so to leave his visual appearance till the main trailer or until fans/press get a shot of him.

I hope that they don't show too many images of the plane crushing in the Austrian Alps... for good sake of the production.

Moody and subtle I can go with, but part of me wants a little slam-bang. A little half and half would be cool IMO. The CR teaser had nice momentum. I really liked the mix of B&W with color in that. The TND trailer was kind of fun in it's time as well for all of a minute and I liked the VO at the end "Now filming around the world".

 

Go for the atmospheric action/drama when we get a full trailer in the summer. I suspect we'll get the second teaser shortly after filming wraps in June.

 

Counting the countdown...So, to quote another great fictional spy..."AND Loving It!"
