Can't say I like the Empire cover.

Such an awful cover. Photoshop galore.

Nice one Marketto! Yet to get my copy.....

...is that all their coverage?

I mean I know it's still early days in the wider scheme of things, but Empire bang on about this huge coverage, and 2 pages (minus the filler) isn't exactly a revelation....

But what's with Hinx's gun? It looks like a double-barrelled pistol! Is that just me?

Those scans are pages 62-63 and 70-71, so hopefully there's more to come!

Thanks for posting, Marketto.

On my imgur album you'll find the scans for all pages. BUT, for copyright rules I haven't post them all here. ;)

I've got my copy, there are 10 pages.

I've read the article, and it's interesting that, to quote it, "Wilson and Broccoli are adamant that (Christoph) Waltz is not playing Blofeld. "He said no in his press conference" says Wilson. "We have SPECTRE and the rest is speculation" adds Broccoli."

The writer concludes with what a number of us here are speculating - that Blofeld might be held back for Bond 25.

On the other hand, of course, it might all be one big bluff! We'll see in October - the feature in Empire gives the release date as 23/10/2015.

Some good tidbits in the article. Funny line about that prescription on that desk. That's interesting.

Quite a few light spoilers in the article, so I've started a new thread in the spoilers section.

Awful cover? I think it looks great! The photoshop, adding the gun, looks too sharp and it's odd that they didn't use the 007 logo, but everything else looks great!

The pose or close up is okay, though I think it could've been scaled down a notch. The added in PPK doesn't look good in my opinion.

I just don't like it.

Agreed, it's a very good cover.  I'll definitely take it over any of the marketing materials we got for Quantum of Solace or Skyfall.

Now I know why this looked somewhat familiar to me: I used almost the same crop for the cover of the German fan club magazine in 2006:

The cover is ok in my opinion.. I actually thought the Skyfall related Empire magazine cover was WAY better..but then, what matters is the article.. You can't judge a book, or in this case, a magazine, by its cover! :)

Exactly, I really liked the Skyfall covers for Empire, I like Craig's pose in them.

I love this cover from Skyfall...

But not this one as much as the rest...

Though they were the same edition (The top was the collectors, the bottom the regular)

I'll take the current SPECTRE cover over either of the Skyfall ones, both of which were rather poor, IMO.

I wonder if the second cover is where they got the idea for SPECTRE's teaser poster... ;)

Given EON's recent track record with poor posters and the rather poor quality of those first images that they debuted at the SPECTRE press conference, I can't say that I would be surprised if that were the case.

These guys are the originators of the Craig era posters.

But yes, ultimately, Eon have the approval, I would imagine (or, have hoped)  Unless the distributors are the end client for Empire Design...??  Who knows?

I'm loving the look of SPECTRE right now. I am of course avoiding spoilers but I like the images.

Exactly. Truckers are never to be underestimated. Jason Bourne is spot-on when he states he'd most likely find a weapon in the guy's truck outside the cafe. Of course, most truckers are weapons themselves...

Yes. I'm French and my father was a trucker. Of course he wasn't armed before going to work...
