EMPIRE reveal the 'Spectre' covers. Quite early, I must say, but stylish? YES.

A little early I think, but still simple and effective for exclusive build up and (hopefully) exclusive imagery inside when revealed and new information that I'm sure we will feedback here!

I believe the B&W cover is for the mail subscribers.

That's right JC, subscription only which comes a few days early.

Fingers crossed mine will be on the doorstep tonight thinking about it, this will be a keeper!

I should point out those after the covers, the B&W is for Empire subscribers only. Colour is general sale.

I'm hoping we may get another closer to November...but I think this is it, because we've got the summer months coming and I feel 'The Force Awakens' is going to dominate towards the end of the year.

Skyfall had Bond on Empire's covers at least twice:-

Ah nice one JC - fingers crossed we get another full on cover later in the year when more material is out there.

And SAF - I agree. Simple and sophisticated just oozes Bond. B.O.N.D :D

Don't know if it'll look like that in the printed version, but both the gun and the finger in that corner look very photoshopped. Edges are to sharp, and it might use a tiny bit of blur, just to make it appear out of focus. Apart from that, very nice.

I really didn't understood why they used that custom 007 logo, instead of the official one. Since they're using an official photo from the film, using the 007 GUN LOGO is also allowed.

Havn't received a copy yet so I can't confirm, but I think the printed one will have the actual 007 logo, These are essentially pre-renders before the actual covers are printed, hence no bar code or white box where one would be on the commercial cover.

I was able to do the clean up only in the B/W version of the EMPIRE cover.

I'll be buying my copy when it's released. Empire is a fantastic magazine and I used to buy it religiously every month, but over the last couple of years I've only bought a handful of copies if they had films that caught my interest - Nothing against the magazine, just haven't seemed to get round to buying them.

Yep, I've got the March issue - with the Avengers on the cover - which was published at the end of January. For some reason, and they've been doing this for years, they release issues a month before the cover date.

Sigh. Let the assault on my wallet begin. There probably won't, however, be nearly as many magazine stories as there were for the 50th a few years back.

Empire always does Bond well, so I'll be glad to add this one to my overstuffed collection.

Don't know what it's like in the states, but in the UK Bond monopolises magazine covers in October/November when a new Bond movie is out so I'd imagine Spectre will be much the same.

Nice cover.

They could slap that awful SPECTRE logo on that image of Craig and already have the best film poster since the Casino Royale teaser poster.

I wish the image was zoomed out a tad, but I agree this would make a good poster. Simple but instantly recognisable as Bond.

Looks like an image that should be used for GQ or some leading men's fashion mag rather than a film magazine!

Hmm.. Walther PPK, isn't it? Once again -- it's time for a new weapon of choice, in my opinion. Than again, it's just a magazine cover, so it doesn't have to mean anything, right?

It looks like the PPK has been digitally added in anyway Marcin, just to give the image a 'Bond feel' so at this point we can't really say if he will use it during 'Spectre'. I think he will as he did in 'Skyfall' however.

I suppose you're right about that gun being digitally added. Good eye, thecasinoroyale!  B)
