Hilary Swank as Irma Bunt is a casting choice that I could definitely get behind.  I wouldn't mind seeing her in a Bond film, regardless of the role, but I think she'd be a fine choice for that particular one.

 

Absolutely. Can´t really picture her as a main Bond Girl. Last time a main Bond Girl was uglier than the actor´s wife was Teri Hatcher   Of course they will find it difficult to surpass Weisz in that department.

Or if they've adjusted the character as such?  When was the last time we had a lead Bond Girl character that was French? Domino Derval?

I read someone else make that connection, but passed me by until I looked it up. Presumably too much of a coincidence for it not to be, but can't for the life of me think why it's the case.

Jokes aside, my comment was based on the fact that Keely was stunning circa 1997. For the record, Teri has aged very very well. Both are very pretty women. Even Hilary Swank is attractive, IMO. She is ten times the actress Teri could ever be. Needless to say, It was not my intention to objectify anyone. Can´t I really say Rachel Weisz is more pretty than all of them? And that my own wife is the most beautiful of them all? Bring on the thought police and the feminist brigade. It´s morally correct to have a topic in which one can say Craig is uglier than Brosnan but that he´s the better actor, but we can´t do the same with actresses? In a James Bond forum? Even if we´re clearly having a laugh? Univex out.
