I think it is a black tie event, so, yeah, I will. I've got more of an Oddjob figure than a Daniel Craig one, so I'll probably look like security!!
Be sure to wear your bowler hat.
Very cool that you're going. Hope you have a great time! Please be sure to report back.

I'll be seeing it with a few friends/family - five of us - on the 27th in IMAX (Uxbridge). Would have booked a Friday showing, but it would be touch and go whether we'd make it on time to Uxbridge for seven, and I really don't like 10pm showings as the audience can get a little rowdy. It's a testament to our dedication that my wife is going as well, even though she is too deaf to be able to clearly follow the plot (and may, frankly, not enjoy it at all as a result). The second viewing will be whenever a subtitled showing comes up anywhere near us - which is normally a couple of weeks later (and at stupid times like Sunday matinee or Tuesday at 10pm).
Uxbridge? Ghetto!

November 8th at 12:07am in a reserved seat. I despise any and everyone east of Newfoundland.
The closer we get to the film's release, the more I can't help but think what an utterly stupiding plan that 2-week gap is.
The sad part is they've opened a large window to allow some to watch it in piss-poor quality via pirated copies.
The entire thing will be on Youtube in 13 parts within the first week. I promise you that.

I'll be going opening night (November 9th for me). There's a 7:15 show with my name on it.

Pretty gutted really because we are generally one of the 1st countries to get big movies, usually before the UK and the USA.
BUT not with Skyfall. Disappointed its almost a month after... but we cant win them all.

Yeah, I was incredibly fortunate to get tickets for the Royal Albert Hall. I'm so exited!!
I'm thrilled you have found yourself attending the premiere, but to be honest I am not in the least bit jealous.
First, I don't want to see Skyfall at the Royal Albert Hall because it is not a cinema and, according to an industry chum, it has terrible acoustics for feature films.
Given that it is a premiere and you are (presumably) not a major figure in the event, you will have terrible seats.
Also, it's a party so the audience will undoubtedly be chatting away throughout.
So that's why I have no interest in seeing a movie I can hardly wait for at its premiere. I really am thrilled that you're thrilled, but it's not for me. You, however, will still be getting an eyeful of all the stars, the royalty, and the sexiest Bond girl all time (Barbara Broccoli), so I'm sure you couldn't give a monkeys!
As for me, my heart will be beating on opening night, October 26, 8pm, at the Vue Cinema in Swansea. Huge screen, deafening sound. Perfect!
