1: not every "chap" is from the UK 2: the shipping from the US costs more than the disc 3: it is region locked A !!! 4: currently sold out at amazon, cheapest private seller price right now: 65,99 dollarThere's a Blu out here in the U.S., can't you chaps in UK just import it. I was under the understanding that Blu is not region blocked so you should have no problem playing it.

Most Blu-Rays are region free (even if they say otherwise) and every Blu-Ray player can be rendered region-free via a simple Google Search for the Region Unlock Codes for your specific player. After that, it's just a case of pointing your Blu-Ray remote at the player and keying in the numbers. It's as easy as typing a cheat code into a videogame.
The only problem is that yes, frequently Amazon charges ridiculous shipping prices and sometimes you can get done for customs costs as well (one time I had to pay €40 for a boxset I paid €30 for).
As for NSNA, it's not THAT bad. I'd certainly rank it higher than DAF or TMWTGG.

It's better than a chunk of EON films.

Yeah, I'd certainly pick up a UK copy (can't play US discs myself).
Read my last post. You probably can.

I suggest to buy the dvd or wait until a properly transferred BD is available.

Wonder if since getting the rights, they (MGM) ever toyed with the idea? Can't imagine EON would allow it though.

I just saw the blu ray collectors edition on eBay for $375. How many of these did they release?
It wasn't a limited release, but it seems to have gone out of print after a "Disney Animated Classics"-like amount of time... I'm going back and forth as to whether or not I should hold onto my copy... I want to have every Bond film on Blu-ray (I also have the 1967 CR) BUT $100 seems like a ridiculous amount of money to get for an opened Blu-ray!

It looks like they pulled it just to re-release it with a 30th anniversary tag. The posts right above yours show its getting released in Europe so likely will be in the US again as well.

Yes, that's what I was thinking too,
unfortenately for me I was one of the suckers who paid 65 euro for the combo (new and sealed) on Ebay a couple of months ago.
If I only had waited a few months longer...... pffff!

Amazon would not fool around like that, guys.
We can look forward to a European Blu-ray release of this underrated guilty pleasure!

It'll be fun to watch sellers drastically lower their prices in light of this. If it sees a North American release I might get it, but I'm content with the Collector's Edition DVD (I was more interested in the bonus content than the actual film).

I hope there is a German, French or other European release. British version will have the horse fall cut as usual
We're in luck!
French (April 1): http://www.amazon.fr...=A1X6FK5RDHNB96
German (April 12): http://www.amazon.de...=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF

FOr those of us in the UK, the French version can be imported. http://www.amazon.fr... jamais blu ray . I got my copy this week. It's the full version, not the censored UK version, and is an English language disc and film. The only French aspect is the cover

Is the horse fall the only cut?
