Loved the TV-spot, it absolutely screams classic Bond. However, the Bond theme just sounds like a lower-pitched version of David Arnold's Bond theme at the end.

I love this TV spot even more than the teaser because it has that kind of Bond humor in it that has me believe SKYFALL will not be too serious and sinister.

Somehow I´m craving for Bond with a lighter touch...

I believe Bond says it ironically to M when he reappears in London having been missing, presumed dead.

It reminds me a lot of the Bond and M scene in Casino Royale. M coming home (She has a cat now, since her Husband is dead), and finding Bond waiting for her. The '007 reporting for duty line" probably will sound a lot better in context. Like you said, it's said with total irony. I loved the little exchange at the end as well, M telling Bond his flat has been sold and everything's in storage, and that he'll have to find a hotel because he's "bloody well not sleeping here".

The location of M's home appears to be different in SKYFALL - a Chelsea town house rather than an East London apartment, so I'd be surprised if the set was the same, but it would be a nice touch to use some of the same furnishings, etc.

Yes, in fact, in one of the new trailers today, you see a car pulling up outside a building at night in the rain. That is the scene filmed in Chelsea, and is M arriving at home before finding Bond sitting in her house returned from the 'dead'. If anything happens to M, it might be a nice touch if Bond takes over the house for future films though?

Has anyone played their disc of CR or QOS to check whether the yacht in the trailers for SF is the same as the one Vesper and Bond acquired toward the end of CR ?
My initial impression, without having checked at all, is that the yacht in the SF trailers is different -- longer, different color, but: THAT is based on just a brief glimpse in the trailers and on my suspect memory of the yacht in the two prior films.
It would make MUCH more sense were it different. After his CR/QOS adventures, it would seem, Bond handed the winnings over -- including the yacht -- to....well, either the CIA, which funded his buy-in back to the CR poker game, or the Queen, who gave him the initial buy-in and sent him, as well as, it seems, got him a dazzling entrance to the summer Olympics.
Besides -- where would Bond have kept it ? with what money to pay for marina space and maintenance ? As they say, the two happiest days with a boat are the day you get it, and the day you get rid of it...

It's a different yacht. This one belongs to Severine/Silva.
