There are also some scenes in a nearby village - I was just wondering if anyone could give me a perspective on what the culture is like around that area. Geography, population, business, anything like that.

If you have a road atlas, find The Isle of Skye and follow the A87 over Skye Bridge and stick to that road until you get to a village called Dornie ... Eilean Donan Castle is on the corner next to the river mouth.
Hope that helps!

Michael "Shady" Tree - Diamonds Are Forever
Irma Bunt - You Only Live Twice, survives but is killed in Benson's short story Blast From The Past. So I guess it depends on what era your writing in.
Those are all I can think of at the moment. Hope it helps.

Actually, Pussy Galore was the only gang leader to survive.
Goldfinger crossed one leg over the other. He gazed away from Bond, up the aisle. He said in a relaxed, conversational tone, "I took three trucks and drove across country to the vicinity of Cape Hatteras. One of the trucks contained my personal hoard of gold bullion. The other two contained my drivers, spare personnel and those gangsters. I required none of them except Miss Galore. I kept a nucleus of the staff I would need, paid off the others with huge sums and dispersed them gradually along the route. At the coast I held a meeting with the four gang leaders in a deserted place, having left Miss Galore under some pretext with the trucks. I shot the four men in my usual fashion-one bullet for each. I went back to the trucks and explained that the four men has chosen money and independant action. I was now left with six men, the girl and the bullion."

Maybe not. If and only if you are considering it part of the genre, you could trawl John Pearson's fictional biography of 007, there might be something in there. There was a card player called Vlacek who I don't think died.

A Shadow of Doubt
or something more general, such as :
The Forgotten Past
Best Left Forgotten or a combination, such as
The Forgotten Shadow
That's all I can think of for now - Funny, I'm usually pretty good with titles.

Ever since last June, I have been working on a screenplay, ONLY TIME WILL KILL. I am a Bond nut - I know all the trivia, and consider myself something of an expert.
Yet I know MGM will never even look at this script.
It's a disappointment, but even if I did manage to get it into the hands of Michael G. Wilson or Barbara Broccoli, the script would be turned out.
Not because it isn't good, but because it is far too 'real world.'
Very real occurrences involving the IRA are mentioned. The villain himself is a patriotic Irishman, who wants to basically annihilate several delegates who, if they are allowed to succeed, would agree to a policy that would see the IRA finally eliminated.
It's a great story, but it would just never happen.
The action sequences are pure Bond - dirtbikes in the Irish moors, a train finale that blows the pants of many of the 007 finales that have been USED.
I'm not trying to brag, I just honestly think it's true.
Sigh.
Why won't they open up a contest accepting fan scripts? Would it be that difficult, especially if fans signed an online waiver or something? Not just that, but at least if MGM signed one? What could be the harm?
Yes, I know that if this happened it would open the fanfiction floodgates and there would be too many scripts to read.
It's just kind of frustrating.
I've got two more screenplays in the eventual works that are far more fantastical and James Bond-ish in nature that AREN'T that politically oriented and COULD be made into the movie.
If they accepted the godawful shooting script for TND, then why won't they even look at some of ours?????
Once again, sigh.
Thanks for listening.
