I think the singers of White and Keys were a little random, but musically and lyrically it wasn't that bad for a Bond.

AWTD on the other hand I always liked, with the very notable exception of the 'slick trigger finger for her majesty' line - and whatever it is they sing at the end (solum of bang bang?). As a song it's fine. As a title song, a part of the film experience, it needed some toning down.

Lyrically? It contains the line...
‘Another player with the slick trigger finger for Her Majesty’
And therefore, should have been consigned to the reject bin instantly.

Like others, I've found AWTD to have grown on me with repeated listenings, though it will never be a favorite. As for DAD, I don't like it as a song or as a Bond song, but I thought in the context of the movie, as a backdrop for that particular set of titles, it worked pretty well. I don't mind it while watching the movie, but otherwise I don't like it much.

Certainly is more unique thant TND's "Darling I'm killed...I'm in a puddle on the floor!" or All Time High's " So hold on tight...let the flight..begin!" Ugh!! Cheeseball to the extreme!! LOL..

At least the grammar works: 'but in this ever changing world in which we live in'? Oh dear Paul.
The line is "but in this ever-changing world in which we're living". It's perfectly grammatical.
I'm not enthusiastic about either DAD or AWTD, but I wouldn't call either of them the worst Bond theme ever. I would reserve that honor for Gladys Knight's "Licence to Kill", which sounds like something you'd hear in a T.J. Maxx dressing room.

The only problem with DAD is that it's not very Bondian.
That's why I like it.

"Shoot 'em up bang bang," coupled with MK12's disorienting graphics, are perhaps the worst part of QoS (the title sequence was saved only by the rolling dots in the text), and a harbinger of what was to come for the next frantic ninety minutes.
I trust EON to deliver the song and titles that all (well, almost all) of us want. They have enough feedback to know what the vocal majority want.

Agreed on both counts. AWTD has grown on me too, certainly more so than the film it accompanied... The worst songs for me are Moonraker and Tomorrow Never Dies. I just find them a bit dull.. I appreciate it is probably sacrelige to criticise Bassey and Barry, but there y'go.. And Surrender would have been a far greater main theme than Shery Crow's... Ah well..
