Chapter 11 builds nicely on its predecessors, reminds me why I don't like needles as well.
I eagerly look forward to chapter 12. I feel the story must be nearing the climax, but there are many pieces that will need to be addressed before the end.
Nice writing Jim.

Chapter 12 built suspense nicely - on both story lines. I thought Chapter 13 was a little on the short side.
Thanks, and yes, well... hee hee hee.
The concluding chapter I hope to put up by the end of today.

I mean, I know the answer so don't even bother to type it, but it's just frustrating being unable to hold the best Bond novel since COLONEL SUN in my hot, sweaty hands.

The timeline and location had changed so much I had to go back to chapters 12 and 13 to make sure they hadn't been edited. Once I figured out I was right where the author wanted me, I was able to settle back into the story. Where I found the surprise that required the telling of the story to change in this way.
Quite a few twists were revealed, and a fitting end to the tale was told.
Excellent work, Jim. These 14 chapters represent many hours of effort and thought, and I appreciate it.

I have lurked around this and other boards but have joined today simply to say that this is a brilliant story. Thanks and well done. Have you written anything else?
Many thanks, appreciated.
And yes I have; but not under this name. More than you might imagine.

I am surprised no-one else is commenting on this piece. I will write a full review when I get time but surely I can't be the only one of a handful to have finished it?

But we're all still in awe.
