You are correct. Pepsi is the first.

Smythe. Her dad's name was Dexter.

Who plays Bill Tanner in TMWTGG? Helps if you've read Maibaum's script, but the chap is clearly in the film.

The driver's seat is too deep in some of the long shots - naturally, since that's where the real driver is hidden.

Hmmm...looks like number plates may have been a little too trivial for some folks. Best guess (without rewatching the film) is that they weren't consistent throughout the film or something.

Mind if I suggest a new question? In GoldenEye, Trevelyan refers to Bond's Omega as a "new model." But the only overt difference between Trevelyan's watch and Bond's is what?

Is it the links? Bond's Omega has the classic silver links, but Trevelyan's watch has a black strap (for some reason!) ?

Yes, that's what I was thinking. Bracelet vs. strap. I suppose an Omega connoisseur might've been able to spot other differences, but I sure couldn't.

What was significantly different about Strangways in the film version of Dr. No, compared to the way Fleming wrote him?

In the novel he wore an eyepatch, but not in the film.

How is Strangways like Tiger Tanaka?

Yes. Both were dubbed by Robert Rietti, but he wasn't credited for Tanaka.

This one may be too obscure. Bond scriptwriters Simon Raven (add. dialogue on OHMSS) and Christopher Wood share something awkward in common.

Here's your first clue: Wood's first (non-Bond) novel and Raven's final book of memoirs.
Here's your second clue: you don't need to read either book, but if you try purchasing them...
Here's your third clue: Wood's own book of memoirs.

Raven always had various libel actions threatening his stuff and I'm prettung sure his last book was either pulled swiftly or never released because of it (his first book had issues too, if I recall correctly/more than vaguely). Not sure if it's the same for Wood and it would possibly be libellous to suggest it is.

If that's it...

Of which club, rather bizarrely, is James St John Smythe apparently a member?
