Hopefully we'll get some info soon, so I can plan accordingly.  But I'll remain optimistic for now and say we can still get a 2015 Bond 24!

I've been wondering about something for a while, but was just too embarrassed to ask.  After the torture scene in CR, during the Bond's surgery you know something had to go after all that trauma.  So did Bond lose...

1 ball

OR (GULP)

(You're missing the point - Le Chiffre had to get a new rope.)

I just had to say that. Someone else can answer the question.

0. In the novel, he went throught the same thing with a carpet beater and spent several months I think in recovery and mentioned he needed to have sex to see if everything still worked. Apparently it did. So with all the sex he and Vesper had post-torture, I will say he didn't lose any.

Thanks for the gin&tonic through the nostrils moments, you guys.  This is awesome.  I lost my entire sack in a hot-tubbing accident during the 1990 Olympics in Aspen.  So I have to take to task anyone who says losing your pills means you can't make sexy time.  After what Le Chiffre did to Bond he probably lost the whole package but was still able to deliver the mail.

Oh, Brewster

Were the best Bond girls in the...

70s (Tiffany, Solitaire, Anya, Holly etc)

That's tough, but I'll have to go with the 60s because of Mie Hama and Akiko Wakabayashi.

In the same vein,

Better villains:

70s (Gray's Blofeld, Kananga, Scaramanga, Stromberg and Drax)

or

80s (Kristatos, Kamal & Orlov, Zorin, Koskov & Whittaker and Sanchez)

I have to go for the 80s housing two of my Top 5 villains - Max Zorin and Franx Sanchez.

The same thread.... which decade had the best soundtracks?

The 80s ('A View To A Kill', 'The Living Daylights etc)

OR

The 90s ('Tomorrow Never Dies', 'The World Is Not Enough' etc)

The 80s, for Bill Conti's FYEO as well as John Barry's OP, AVTAK (better than the film it was in) and TLD.

The 'etcs' you didn't mention above were Michael Kamen's LTK and Eric Serra's GE score - as innovative as the latter was, I don't blame you for not mentioning either of them.

Double-ball 7".

Is this trolling?

Okay, The Beast.

Should the next Bond actor be:

Another self-indulgent blunt instrument with emotional angst like Dalton or Craig

or

another confident, flippant know-it-all like Connery or Moore

?

Heck no, AMC.  No trolling on my part anyway.  I'm just trying to ask some provocative questions and hear people's opinions on Bond's character.  I figure that chair session cost Bond a little something, this not being a Roger Moore movie.

I'd say...

another confident, flippant know-it-all like Connery or Moore (let's go the other direction next series!)

Would you like to see Craig continue with the stoic, reserved approach

OR

adopt a slightly more flip, laid back approach to the role?

Absolutely no problem with me, AMC.

I'll have to go with...Gina Carano.  I just can't vote against her.

Would Bond be more likely to attend...

The French Open tennis championship in Paris

OR

The Grand Prix Monaco F1 racing championship in Monte Carlo?

The Grand Prix Monaco F1 in Monte Carlo. Not really having anything to do with the sports, I just think Bond would prefer the extra-curricular activities in Monte Carlo as opposed to the ones in Paris.

Would Bond be more likely to support:

Manchester United
OR

Chelsea

?

Manchester United.

Would you rather have seen:

Roger Moore's Bond teamed up for a buddy movie with fellow agent Matt Helm(Dean Martin)

or

George Lazenby's Bond teamed up for a buddy movie with fellow agent Derek Flint(James Coburn)?

Dude, Roger Moore + Dean Martin would have been awesome.  I wanna party with those blokes!

Given that Ian Fleming envisioned Bond as being about 35 years old, do you prefer the future film Bond...

35 or younger as originally envisioned

OR

times have changed and 45 is the new 35, so older is okay?

35, although some of the actors that I envision as possibly succeeding Craig will be in their forties by the time his finished (Alex O'Loughlin, Benedict Cumberbatch).

Chris Pine as Bond

OR

Daniel Craig as Kirk

Where did you get them from PKK? Brilliant! On those efforts, it has to be the 'OHMSS' poster! :D 'Diamonds Are Forever' almost looks like a 60s spy spoof sex comedy!

Will we have another billion dollar Bond after 'Skyfall'?

YES - One day, I think we will peak again at just the right time with either new actors taking roles, the perfect crew, or an anniversary build up

OR

NO - 'Skyfall' showed something special happen, and it took nearly 50 years to do so. It was well loved, and will not repeat such success again for the series.

Again, I don't care to respond to the last question or post one of my own - I just want to comment on the mock posters.

I love 'em both!

Especially the one for DAF, and I can't help but contemplate that only Charles Gray's Blofeld could complain about the obstructed view out the Bathosub's ports.
