Easy one for me...two of the best...'Octopussy' and 'The Living Daylights'. Good fun Bond adventures!

Which title is the laziest of the series in terms of originality and relevence?

'Quantum Of Solace'

OR

'Licence To Kill'

Have to say 'Quantum of Solace"...at least "Licence To Kill" is relevant in terms of 007's licence being revoked and him going off on his own vendetta.

Right now that the Skyfall teaser trailer is out...what is more satisfying to you: All the bitching and whining about the Heineken product placement deal has virtually been silenced OR that people, including a huge number of casual Bond fans are genuinely getting excited that Bond is back?

All the bitching and whining about the Heineken product placement deal has virtually been silenced. That was getting so out of hand for what it's worth...can't believe it caused so much fuss!

If you can remember the teaser trailer (who can't!)...what shot stood out to you the most and why?

More menacing adversary:

Charles Gray's Blofeld in Diamonds Are Forever

or

The bald villain in the wheelchair from the pre-credit sequence in For Your Eyes Only?

Charles Gray's Blofeld without a doubt...but not by much!

Less menacing Bond villain...

Hugo Drax in 'Moonraker'

OR

Max Zorin in 'A View To A Kill'

Max Zorin..he was too psychotic to be as menacing say as Emilio Largo..but the chuckling psycho feel worked well for Christopher Walken.

Alternate Bond casting scenario...which would you have preferred more: Connery refuses Diamonds Are Forever and John Gavin ends up playing 007 OR Roger Moore refuses Octopussy and James Brolin is cast in the role?

Connery refuses 'Diamonds Are Forever' and John Gavin ends up playing. Hopefully Gavin would have been a Lazenby replacement also, but we still get Roger Moore. Couldn't imagine anyone else doing 'Octopussy'!

If you could have one piece of 50th Anniversary memorabilia for free, would you choose...

When we get word of the the impending release of the Skyfall title theme song, will you: Listen to all the other Bond title songs before hand to have some context OR just enjoy hearing the song first?

I'll just enjoy hearing the song first, but be very cautious and careful about judging as I did with 'You Know My Name' and 'Another Way To Die' which both grew on me an awful lot over the listenings!

Do you think James Bond theme songs work best as...

Upbeat rock and pop ie: 'Live And Let Die' / 'A View To A Kill' / 'Die Another Day' / 'You Know My Name' etc

OR

Slow ballads and soul ie: 'Thunderball' / 'Nobody Does It Better' / 'Licence To Kill' / 'The World Is Not Enough' etc

??

In general, I prefer the Upbeat rock and pop feel for the Bond themes, but it really depends on the 007 actor.. NO WAY would something like "You Know My Name" be appropriate for Roger Moore's Bond, just as "All Time High" wouldn't work for Timothy Dalton or Daniel Craig..

Bond video games... your favorite of the "Goldeneye" series: Goldeneye N64, Goldeneye: Rogue Agent OR Goldeneye: Reloaded?

Ooh Dove...tough one...! I have to go for GoldenEye N64. It's simplicity and sheer brilliance as a shooter and James Bond game blew me away, and even though GoldenEye: Reloaded is brilliant too for me now...something can't let the GE N64 memory fade away.

If you could play as a James Bond actor in a new video game and experience their story lines...who would it be...

Sean Connery - A 60s set Bond game, along the lines of 'Dr.No' and 'Thunderball'

OR

Roger Moore - A 70s set Bond game, along the lines of 'Live And Let Die' and 'For Your Eyes Only'

Has to be 'Goldfinger' / 'Thunderball'. Great little Connery duo.

What gadget would you like to see tested in 'Skyfall', but not taken out by Bond...

A helecopter jet-pack, a cross between the jet-pack in 'Thunderball' and Little Nellie in 'You Only Live Twice'

A boat flying plane, a cross between the Q-Boat in 'The World Is Not Enough' and the Acrostar Jet in 'Octopussy'

Have to go with a helicopter jet-pack...I could see something like this done in a not-too-cheesy manner for the Craig era.

The bigger wasted opportunity for a BMW car in a Bond film...Goldeneye, where we see the car driving but not one shot of it blowing something up before Jack Wade drives off in it OR The World Is Not Enough where it fires one missle at the helicopter before being sawed to pieces?

HAS to be 'GoldenEye', where we see the car driving but not one shot of it blowing something up before Jack Wade drives off in it. I mean, a pointless de-brief by Q to be driven down a dustry road and by the coast? Is that it!? At least in 'TWINE' we get some decent screen time, even had some good publicity shots and the gadgets were used to effect!

On that note...which Aston Martin abuse hurt more...

'Casino Royale' - Flipping the car to avoid Vesper in a brief but brutal moment, watching bumpers, paint, glass, metal and even a wheel crumble to death. You can almost hear the scream of the car!

OR

'Quantum Of Solace' - A painful sequence watching the car slowly be abused by losing a door, bullet holes in the body, smashed windows, scuffed paint and trashed paintwork. Ouch!

Casino Royale.

I assume you watched QOS in slow motion because in regular motion the sequence is a blur.

Which do you prefer?
