"He got the boot".
Preferred song:-
Licence to Kill by Gladys Knight
or
Goldeneye by Tina Turner

or
Goldeneye by Tina Turner
??
Posted 28 January 2016 - 10:52 PM
LTK by Gladys Knight sans Pips.
Better secondary villain:
General Orlov in OP
or
C in SP?
Posted 29 January 2016 - 07:57 AM
Ooh. Both good, devious characters - I'll just give it to Orlov as I love his evident unstability.
Worst pun by Brosnan in 'Tomorrow Never Dies'
"They'll print anything these days!"
OR
"Backseat driver!"
??
Posted 29 January 2016 - 05:18 PM
Both were great in my opinion, but maybe the "print anything these days" was a tad bit corny..
Bond vs Henchmen mix-ups.. Pierce Brosnan's 007 fighting Dave Bautista's Mr. Hinx, Daniel Craig's 007 fighting Famke Jansen's Xenia Onotopp, OR Sean Connery's 007 fighting Richard Kiel's Jaws?
Posted 30 January 2016 - 02:59 AM
Sean Connery's 007 vs. Jaws
Better final action sequence set in a big city after the main action climax:
the one involving Bond, Stacey, Zorin and the zeppelin in San Francisco after the Silicon Valley action climax in AVTAK
or
the one involving Bond, Madeleine, Oberhauser a.k.a. Blofeld and the helicopter in London after the Moroccan desert action climax in SP?
Posted 01 February 2016 - 08:43 AM
Has to be 'AVTAK' for me, I love the Bond / Zorin finale.
Do you think, gut feeling, Bond 25 and 26 will be a two parter / sequel to tie up the Craig era?
YES - Waltz will return as Blofeld to really flesh out and finish Craig's run in style
OR
NO - Bond 25 will serve the purpose, but will probably be the last Craig 007 film
??
Posted 01 February 2016 - 10:15 PM
No, Bond 25 will be a standalone Bond movie (in 2018)
Preferred title for Bond 25:-
Gold Lives Forever
or
No Time To Die
??
Posted 02 February 2016 - 07:57 AM
'No Time To Die'....very Brosnan like.
Worst pun from Sean Connery in 'Diamonds Are Forever':
"He certainly left with his tail between his legs!"
OR
"There is something I'd like you to get off your chest...!"
??
Posted 02 February 2016 - 04:01 PM
There were no bad lines in DAF!
But I suppose "He certainly left with his tails between his legs" comes in second.
Better LALD line:
"I'm sure we'll be able to lick you into shape"
or
"I certainly wouldn't have killed you before"
?

Posted 03 February 2016 - 08:43 AM
Has to be MGW, of course!
Worst pun from Sean Connery in 'Goldfinger'...
"Shocking. Positively shocking."
OR
"Playing his golden harp."
??
Posted 03 February 2016 - 09:28 PM
Playing his golden harp
Preferred title song:-
Moonraker
or
Tomorrow Never Dies
??
Posted 03 February 2016 - 09:47 PM
Moonraker
Say that there were to be a cross-over film featuring Daniel Craig's 007 and one other spy/assassin...who should it be? Matt Damon's Jason Bourne or Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt ??
Posted 04 February 2016 - 05:20 AM
Ethan Hunt
Better final battle:
U.S. Navy frogmen vs. SPECTRE frogmen underwater near Miami Beach in TB
or
Marc-Ange Draco's Union Corse vs. Blofeld's SPECTRE at Piz Gloria in OHMSS?
Posted 04 February 2016 - 05:57 PM
The frogmen vs SPECTRE in Thunderball...something very unique about that sequence..almost ballet like...
Which was the best Victor Tourjansky double-take moment in a Bond... him with the bottle of wine on the beach in The Spy Who Loved Me, him with the wine in St. Mark's Square in Moonraker, OR him standing up in gaping awe as the motorcycles come crashing through the restaurant in For Your Eyes Only??
Posted 05 February 2016 - 12:58 AM
Ha ha, I like FYEO because it's the continuation of the gag, and his face is funniest in this one!
Preferred villain name for a new 007 in Bond 26:-
Dr Octopus
or
Mr Death
??
Posted 05 February 2016 - 01:51 AM
Dr. Octopus(although Marvel Comics might not allow that).
Better Craig era Bond/secondary Bond girl couple:
Bond and Solange in CR:
or
Bond and Donna Lucia in SP:
?
Posted 05 February 2016 - 08:19 AM
Has to be Bond and Lucia Sciarra - Bellucci is just delicious in her small role.
Most pointless appearance by Felix Leiter...
'The Living Daylights' - looking at computer monitors and drinking coffee
OR
'Quantum Of Solace' - looking miserable and drinking beer
??
Posted 06 February 2016 - 08:08 PM
QOS-looking miserable and drinking beer
Better secondary 1980s Bond villain:
Colonel Heller in Licence To Kill
http://www.jamesbond...ains/don-stroud
or
Scarpine in A View To A Kill
http://www.jamesbond...patrick-bauchau ?
Posted 07 February 2016 - 09:47 PM
Heller
What would you prefer for Bond 25:-
007 is brainwashed by Blofeld to attack M
or
Tanner is killed and Bond goes looking for revenge
??
Posted 08 February 2016 - 12:24 AM
I'd rather see that sequence from TMWTGG done justice than anything from The Killing Zone, so Bond attacking M.
Posted 08 February 2016 - 12:26 AM
I'd rather see TMWTGG filmed than anything from The Killing Zone, so Bond attacking M.
OK your turn.
Posted 08 February 2016 - 12:42 AM
(Sorry, Dave - I'd submitted the answer first to hold my place while I thought up a challenge.)
Is DaveBond21 picking our brains for a future script/novel submission?
Yes, in which case he has to share credit with all of us for helping him weed out some of his more hare-brained ideas,
or
No, he just wants us to suspect that he's really Anthony Horowitz and leave us concerned that he intends to use some of his more radical suggestions in the future.
(Those are your only choices.)
Posted 08 February 2016 - 09:30 AM
Yes! For sure - we want credit!
What element in the story do you NOT want to see in 'Bond 25':
A personal "revenge" mission for 007
OR
An insider in MI6 is pulling the strings
??
Posted 08 February 2016 - 07:17 PM
Posted 09 February 2016 - 12:57 AM
OK your turn then.
Posted 11 February 2016 - 04:44 AM
OK, I will go.
Which character would you like to see rebooted in Bond 25:-
Sheriff Pepper played by Will Ferrell
or
Jinx played by Jennifer Lawrence
??
Posted 11 February 2016 - 08:28 AM
No Will Ferrell PLEASE. I'll go for the definite racial outcry from Hollywood of Jennifer Lawrence cast as Jinx.
After 4 films, your view of Daniel Craig:
The best James Bond - injected a much needed sense of realism and continues it even today after nearly 10 years in the role
OR
A good James Bond, but now the one-trick pony of a tough, gritty, hurting man is wearing thin and he offers nothing really new
??
Posted 11 February 2016 - 05:24 PM
(Well to my mind) The best..he definitely injected a much needed sense of realism and it still holds fresh after 10 years.
While it's most likely that Sam Mendes will NOT be back for Bond 25 (yes I know we've heard that tune before..) who you like to see take the helm for the film?
Martin Campbell (back for a 3rd film), Christopher Nolan, OR....Quentin Tarantino ( )??
Posted 11 February 2016 - 10:36 PM
Campbell
Preferred sequence in TLD:_
Bond, Kara and Saunders in Vienna
or
Bond and Pushkin in Tangiers
??
