I think Natalya and Bond in 'GoldenEye' - something so outrageous yet heroic about it, literally thundering through a town against the odds to reach her and nothing will stop him. Pure Bond!

Which tie adjustment was far cooler for you from Pierce Brosnan....

After stopping the Russian soldiers in the tank in 'GoldenEye'

OR

Underwater in the Q-Boat during 'The World Is Not Enough'

??

After stopping the Russian soldiers in GE.

More classic Bond moment in the Craig films:
Bond adjusting his cuff links on the train in Skyfall
OR
Bond nonchalantly greeting the worker in Rome after ejecting from his Aston Martin in Spectre
?

Both great touches, but has to be the greeting in Rome. Such a classic moment, with Bond acting casual to gobsmacked bystanders.

James Bond fancies a takeaway. What does he favour?

Chinese food

OR

Hot pizza

??

Chinese food. I, somehow, don't see Bond liking pizza all that much.

What is Bond's geek fantasy:

Star Wars

OR

Lord of the Rings

?

I will say Star Wars

Preferred theme song:-

TWINE

or

TMWTGG

??

Lulu all the way!

(Had to get in first before someone else rained on my parade.)

Better impromptu, short-lived, easily-blown alias:

Claus Hergeshiemer

Scaramanga

or

Dr. Arkov

?

Gotta go with "Claus Hergeshiemer from G-section."  "You guys didn't get your badges yet?"  "G-Section may not be as important to the operation as you guys ... "  Such a great bluff!

Better instrumental version of title song:

Skyfall

OR

Writing's on the Wall ??

Writing's on the Wall as an instrumental

Better Bond, Bond girl and villain having a civilized discussion before torture scene:

Bond, Honey Ryder and Doctor Julius No having dinner at Crab Key in Dr. No

or

Bond, Madeleine Swann and Franz Oberhauser meeting in the room with the meteorite at the Moroccan desert SPECTRE HQ in SPECTRE?

I think Bond, No and Ryder - a classic and non-dramatic meeting of minds. 'SPECTRE' was too dramatic and theatrical.

Better introduction....

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Ernst Stavro Blofeld."

OR

"The man inside your head, the man you're talking to, is Ernst Stavro Blofeld."

??

"Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ernst Stavro Blofeld." Simple, menacing. The other one is doing way too much. Less is more, people.

Worst follow-up to a superior Bond film:

Moonraker to The Spy Who Loved Me

OR

Spectre to Skyfall

?

In both of those cases I actually prefer MR to TSWLM and also prefer SPECTRE to SF myself but since I have a lot of sentimental affection for MR, I'll say SPECTRE to SF of those 2 options.

Stronger villain:

General Georgi Koskov in The Living Daylights

or

Franz Oberhauser in SPECTRE?

Koskov. Though neither is particularly memorable.

Weaker villain:

Gustav Graves

OR

Elliot Carver

?

Gustav Graves - too much hammy acting and a laughable villain in general. At least Carver was current for the time and quite menacing in his actions.

Which car was wasted the most?

Aston Martin DB10 in 'SPECTRE'

OR

Aston Martin DBS in 'Casino Royale'

??

Definitely, the Aston Martin DBS in Casino Royale was the bigger wasted vehicle..

The better one-line spoken by the villain who doesn't speak much... "Oh sh**t!!" by Mr. Hinx in SPECTRE Or  "Well, here's to us!" by Jaws in Moonraker??

Gotta go with the classic "Well...here's to us." from MR.

Better villain's party scene:

Zorin's horse sale reception at the Chateaux Chantilly in A View To A Kill

or

Carver's media party at the CMGN HQ in Hamburg in Tomorrow Never Dies?

AVTAK party - looks very classy

Preferred single location for Bond 25:-

Japan

or

USA

Japan - just a country not seen much yet in the Bond movies and offers a real change of pace to the Western world.

Best use of an American city in a film:

New York in 'Live And Let Die' - Harlem, the cat-and-mouse chasing and the overall busy metropolis

OR

San Francisco in 'A View To A Kill' - The Golden Gate Bridge, the City Hall fire and the fire-truck chase

??

New York. It was certainly underutilized, but they showed a different side to the city as opposed to the skyscrapers of Manhattan. The fight on the Golden Gate Bridge just feels forced and not organic.

Better alternate Bond ally:

Milos Columbo

OR

René Mathis

?

Both are good, but Colombo has a little edge to him that makes a worthy ally.

Which Bond girl shouldn't have died:

Severine in 'Skyfall'

OR

Paris in 'Tomorrow Never Dies'

??

Severine. She had more to add to the story. Paris was useless.

More gruesome torture scene:
Le Chiffre beating Bond's genitals with a knotted rope in CR
OR
Blofeld drilling into Bond's head in SP
?

Better "also-ran" casting for a Bond girl role:

Catherine Deneuve

1-catherine-deneuve-everett.jpg

as

Tracy Bond in OHMSS

or

Faye Dunaway

the-thomas-crown-affair-faye-dunaway-eve

as

Tiffany Case in DAF?

Dunaway as Tiffany

Preferred title for Bond 25:-

or

Risico

Risico - sounds more simplistic for the casual Bond fan rather than 'TGOD'.

Which Bond has the best train scenes...

Roger Moore - 'LALD', 'TSWLM' and 'OP'

OR

Daniel Craig - 'CR', 'SF' and 'SP'

??

Moore's train scenes.

For Bond 25:

Would you rather Madeleine Swann's character return

or

Would rather her not return and her post-SPECTRE fate not be mentioned and left to the viewer's imagination like most of the Bond heroines before her?

Leave her to the imagination - if she comes back, and I doubt she'd make it through alive, it will just add fuel for more boring Craig-driven revenge/vendetta/rogue actions. With his behaviour it's a wonder he's not been fired.

Which Bond had the best plane scenes...

Timothy Dalton - 'TLD' and 'LTK'

OR

Pierce Brosnan - 'TND' and 'DAD'

??

Which Craig train fight did you prefer more?  Bond vs Patrice in Skyfall OR Bond and Madeline vs Hinx in SPECTRE??

Definitely Bond and Madeleine vs. Hinx.

Better one-liner:

Thunderball - "I think he got the point".

OR

Goldfinger - "Shocking, positively shocking".

Preferred villain for Bond 25:-

Mr Ace - an evil casino owner who is funding terrorists

or

Doctor Foster - an evil doctor who is brain washing politicians

Better AVTAK secondary Bond girl:

Jenny Flex(Alison Doody)

or

Pola Ivanova(Fiona Fullerton)?
