Surrender. Everything about it screams opening title. If You Asked Me Too works perfectly as an end title.
Better Bill Tanner
Rory Kinnear
OR
Michael Kitchens

Better Bond-meets-Bond-girl scene:
Bond alias "Peter Franks" meets blond-brunette-redhead Tiffany Case in her apartment in Amsterdam in Diamonds Are Forever
or
Bond "the banker" gets reacquainted with his ex-girlfriend Mrs. Paris McKenna Carver at the CMGN party in Hamburg in Tomorrow Never Dies?
Posted 21 November 2015 - 06:48 PM
Bond as Franks in DAF. I could never stand any scene with Paris Carver.
Bond movie/opening titles change-up:
Live and Let Die with Spectre's opening titles
OR
Spectre with Live and Let Die's opening titles
?
Posted 23 November 2015 - 04:19 AM
SPECTRE with the LALD opening titles
Preferred snow chase:-
TWINE
or
SPECTRE
??
Posted 23 November 2015 - 04:41 AM
Posted 23 November 2015 - 08:37 AM
'SPECTRE' without a doubt.
Best 'WOTW' lyrics to sum up 'SPECTRE' perfectly...
"A million shards of glass that haunt me from my past."
OR
"I want to feel love run through my blood, tell me is this where I give it all up."
??
Posted 23 November 2015 - 09:23 AM
A million shards of glass that haunt me from my past.
Bond in Australia
OR
Bond in South Africa
?
Posted 23 November 2015 - 05:54 PM
Australia...definitely time we get 007 "down under"..
For Bond 25...which would be a funnier scene...009 getting into it with 007 over stealing the DB10 and leaving it at the bottom of the Tiber in Rome OR James Bond meeting Moneypenny's "friend" from that scene in SPECTRE??
Posted 23 November 2015 - 09:05 PM
I would definitely love to see Bond meet Moneypenny's "friend."
Craig's Bond being strapped to the back of a boat and used as shark bait
OR
Moore's Bond having the villain scratch his balls....
?
Posted 23 November 2015 - 11:40 PM
Craig's Bond being strapped to the back of a boat and being used as shark bait.
Better Bond ally:
Felix Leiter(Rik van Nutter) in Thunderball
or
Tiger Tanaka(Tetsuro Tamba) in You Only Live Twice?
Posted 24 November 2015 - 03:48 AM
Ooh that is actually quite hard. I will go for Van Nutter's Felix.
Preferred ally in Bond 25:-
008
or
A rebooted Luigi from FYEO
??
Posted 24 November 2015 - 08:52 AM
Rebooted Luigi. Two 00 agents would make it even more a generic action buddy film when it should be Bond working alone (bar occasionally meeting them in the field)
What hobby do you think James Bond enjoys doing when he's not "working"?
9 holes of golf on a Sunday
OR
Mountain biking
??
Posted 24 November 2015 - 01:25 PM
Mountain biking. I think he'd get bored quite fast with golf....unless he finds the wrong golf ball on the course.
Worse Bond ally:
Jimmy Dean as Willard Whyte
OR
Denise Richards as Christmas Jones
?
Posted 25 November 2015 - 12:19 AM
Christmas. I actually thought JD's WW wasn't a bad ally.
Bond actor/film mixup:
Timothy Dalton as Bond in SPECTRE
or
Daniel Craig as Bond in LTK?
Posted 25 November 2015 - 06:33 AM
Craig in LTK would be interesting as an experiment only.
Scene you'd like to see added to a movie:-
Frederick Gray apologising to Bond at the end of Moonraker for being wrong about Drax
or
Group Captain Pritchard apologising to Bond at the end of Thunderball about being wrong about Derval
??
Posted 25 November 2015 - 08:13 AM
Freddie apologizing about Drax in 'Moonraker'. Always liked the fact M believed Bond regardless; faith in your best man.
Speaking of 'Moonraker', which moment in the film is most absurd for you:
The lab in Venice turned into a room of a mansion in a matter of hours - size, décor...everything.
OR
Jaws surviving all of his near-death experiences in a comical way
??
Posted 25 November 2015 - 08:20 AM
Jaws surviving his near death experiences in comical ways. Just glad you didn't include the double taking pigeon in your options.
Which time period does James Bond work better in:
the 1960s
OR
the 2010s
?
Posted 25 November 2015 - 04:45 PM
The 60s.
BTW, if you look in the background, you'll see that the opulent room was always there, just with the high-tech stuff installed. The only things that had to be brought in later were the chandelier and the desk.
But I digress.
Seeing as the latest entry in the film series is already being dissected to within an inch of it's life, I propose
The better 'leave it as it is' candidate:
SPECTRE
or
Moonraker
?
Posted 26 November 2015 - 12:12 AM
Moonraker. We've had 36 years to dissect that one, but only about 3 weeks for Spectre. Let people have their fun. Or torment....either way.
Better non-Bond role for Sean Bean:
Boromir
OR
Eddard Stark
?
Posted 26 November 2015 - 06:17 PM
Boromir
Better use of a parade as a backdrop to Bond action:
The Junkanoo in Nassau in Thunderball
or
Carnival/Mardi Gras in Rio in Moonraker?
Posted 27 November 2015 - 02:29 AM
Both are great, but the Thunderball junkanoo plays a more prominent role in the plot.
Preferred scene in FYEO:-
Ski chase between Bond and Krieger in Cortina
or
The keel hauling sequence in Greece
??
Posted 27 November 2015 - 03:38 AM
Hafta go with the keel-hauling. Conceived by Fleming and hadn't been done already.
Seriously, what was the point of the ski chase? Kristatos had put Bond onto Colombo, Loque was wearing a dove pin, all to steer suspicion away. Didn't Kriegler get the memo? If he was part of the ploy, nothing was said about it later. He seemed too determined to catch Bond.
The better 'leave it as it is' candidate round 2:
Spectre
or
Die Another Day
?
Posted 27 November 2015 - 12:49 PM
'SPECTRE' - could have been far worse, and it's best to leave it.
So, after the comedown, how do you feel about 'SPECTRE':
Gave me what I wanted and expected. Great fun and a solid Bond film.
OR
Left me quite disappointed, and a little empty. Could have been a far better Bond film.
??
Posted 27 November 2015 - 04:58 PM
Gave me what I wanted and expected. Great fun and a solid Bond film.
I pick this one of those two options. I enjoyed SPECTRE and consider it Craig's best since CR.
Better Bond and Blofeld scene:
Bond wearing the astronaut uniform meets Blofeld face to face for the first time in the extinct volcano HQ in You Only Live Twice
or
Bond wearing a tuxedo confronts two Blofelds and two white cats in Willard Whyte's penthouse in Diamonds Are Forever?
Posted 27 November 2015 - 05:41 PM
Bond and Blofeld in YOLT.
Better Bond henchman death:
Stamper blowing up in stealth boat after failing to kill Bond
OR
Dario being crushed by the cocaine crusher after failing to kill Bond
?
Posted 30 November 2015 - 08:16 AM
Dario - totally fit the context of the film; brutal and bloody and brilliant.
Which format are you investing in for 'SPECTRE' next year:
DVD
or
Blu-ray
??
Posted 30 November 2015 - 09:01 AM
Blu-ray. Already have the other 23 films in blu-ray, though I'll probably download it digitally on itunes a week or two early like with Skyfall.
How long before we learn something about the next Bond game:
within the next year, Spectre has grossed $750 million and EON are going to want to capitalize on that anyway they can
OR
with the potential sale of the Bond license and the still poor taste of 007 Legends, the next Bond game is still several years away if we ever even get one
?
Posted 30 November 2015 - 03:03 PM
I think they'll wait - not even material in 'SPECTRE' makes for a potential game, and there is too much up in the air with the licence they need to sort first.
Currently edging towards $750m worldwide, will 'SPECTRE' smash $800m...?
YES - The Christmas period will give it a boost and it will reach $800m
OR
NO - It's slowing down now, and 'Star Wars' will take away any and all audiences for the holidays.
??
Posted 30 November 2015 - 03:39 PM
YES - $800m is not out of the question (I've only seen it twice so far - I expect to see it at least twice more before the DVD comes out).
Less annoying line:
"This never happened to the other fellow"
or
"I'll buy you a delicatessen - in stainless steel!"
?
Posted 01 December 2015 - 02:03 AM
This never happened to the other fellow(when I first saw it as a kid I thought it was a Cinderella/Prince Charming reference).
Better Bond goes to rescue the damsel-in-distress action scene:
Natalya gets captured by Ourumov in St. Petersburg and Bond pursues them in a tank in GE
or
Madeleine gets captured by Hinx and co. in the Austrian Alps and Bond pursues them in a plane in SPECTRE?
