If it's just yes or no, I say YES. If you include the third option, it makes more narrative sense to just have him in Live And Let Die only. He's still funny (though not as much) in The Man With The Golden Gun but it makes no sense for his character to 1) be in Thailand and especially 2) checking out a car at a dealership in said foreign country.

Oh I love both lines, and "I think he got the point" is better known but I think I will opt for "Bon appetit" - great line and not just a pun.
