Penfold Hearts - something about it sounds so wonderfully British!

Do you think we will get the title of 'Bond 24' before 2015?

YES - Filming will start in December and we will have a title for sure!

OR

NO - Filming may get under way, but it will take a few months before we get the title.

YES. I believe we may get the title in November, exactly one year ahead of release.

Knowing two of the locales for Bond 24, in which do you hope the bulk of the story takes place:

Rome

OR

Austria (which is possibly substituting for Norway) ?

We've had a lot of cities in Craig's run full of culture and history similar to Rome, so I go for Austria that may lead to a different climate for Craig's Bond to tackle.

Which villain deserves the medal for best crushing of an object:

Oddjob and the golf ball in 'Goldfinger'

OR

Gobinda and the dice in 'Octopussy'

Gobinda and the dice...dice are much smaller and harder than a golf ball so it was more impressive..

Which Bourne C.I.A. character would have or would make a good cameo appearance in a Bond.. Joan Allen's Pamela Landy, Chris Cooper's Alex Conklin, Brian Cox's Ward Abbot OR David Straithairn's Noah Vosen?

I could see Pamela Landy in a Felix Leiter type of ally role - I'll say her then!

Which sport previouisly unseen in a Bond film would you like to see 007 participate in at some point:

Cycling, tennis/other racquet sport, or rowing/kayaking/rafting ?

Ooh I think a good racquet sport - very civilised BUT would lead to some good tension and drama, like golf in 'Goldfinger' and Texas Hold 'Em in 'Casino Royale'.

Who is better...

Mr Wint

OR

Mr Kidd

Miss Moneypenny mix up... Pamela Salem in The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill OR Caroline Bliss in Never Say Never Again?

(AMC: I suppose I meant better just in general!)

I love Caroline Bliss but won't accept 'NSNA' so I go for Pamela Salem in 'The Living Daylights' and 'Licence to Kill'.

Most misleading tagline:

'Has James Bond Finally Met His Match?'  from 'A View To A Kill'

or

'The Truth Will Be Revealed At Any Price" from 'Quantum Of Solace'

I'll say the QOS tag. The first could apply to almost any Bond film, but the second is just confusing... What truth?!? Quantum is still out there!

Better Blofeld kill:

Electrocution chair in TB

OR

piranha pool in YOLT ?

I have to go with the electro-chair in 'Thunderball' - something very grizzly about that one surrounded by others as well. How much more do you need to motivate your other agents?!

Best use of the word "bitch" in the films:

"The job is done, and the bitch is dead." - Casino Royale (Bond to M, reporting in on Vesper's death)

OR

"Bitch." - Diamonds Are Forever (Bond after slipping Tiffany Case the targeting cassette)

Actually I liked the use of the word in Diamonds Are Forever more.. it just sort of fell flat for me in Casino Royale, which is a shame since it's a great line from the book.

Do you think there will be any Goldfinger-esque theme to the eventual press conference of Bond 24, as its the 50th anniversary? YES or NO?

Yes. Michael G. Wilson will appear nude painted head to toe in gold.

Oh wait a minute, this isn't the corrupt a wish thread? :D

Better use of a previous Bond film theme

Midget badly whistling GF in OHMSS.

LALD theme heard on flute, of all instruments, in TMWTGG when J.W. Pepper sees Bond.

Q and Bond playing "Nobody Does it Better" on keypad in FYEO.

"You Know My Name" at start of Mathis sequence in QOS.

I go for... 'The Man With The Golden Gun'. Just a cute little nod to both 'LALD' and it makes sense with JW having the "mini-flashback". I think it works quite well overall.

Best use of the James Bond theme in a Bond film, not as part of the soundtrack...

Vijay plays the "charming tune" in 'Octopussy' to get Bond's attention

OR

Sanchez ricochets the theme on the tanker truck whilst shooting at 007 in 'Licence To Kill'

Better Moore era Q gadget that Bond never used:

exploding bolas in MR

linear induction tea set in TSWLM ?

Good one... I would have loved to have seen Q's bolas in action..

With Morocco being whispered as a location for Bond 24, are you at all concerned that the film might look a little too much like The Living Daylights or The Bourne Ultimatum, both of which used practically the same locations in Tangier..YES or NO?

(by the way the cafe where Bourne meets Nicki to trap Desh with a new celll phone can be seen in TLD directly across the street from where Bond tracks down Pushkin and his girlfriend at the fancy hotel..)

NO for me, I mean, if I see hints of 'The Living Daylights', it will just spark a little nostalgia for me, but I am sure the producers will have it in a way that looks totally unique. Not like Istanbul and the identical shots in 'Skyfall' and 'Taken 2'!

Which is the most awful sexually overt delivery in 'Die Another Day'?

"No thanks. I don't like cock fights."

OR

"Yeah, I think I got the...thrust...of it."

The "thrust" line... the emphasis on the word makes it worse...

Which KIA MI6 agent provided the more valuable intel before he died:

003 (AVTAK) ?

Nice.

Ok...hmm....I think 003 has the edge. That chip was crucial to link the KGB and Max Zorin, and also gave Bond the name to go on. 009 did well with the egg, but following that auction and investigation, it didn't lead him TOO far forward.

That was a good one CBB!

Which ally SHOULDN'T have been killed off?

Saunders in 'The Living Daylights'

OR

Sharkey in 'Licence To Kill'

Thanks tcr! Thought I'd go a little out of the box for a change.

I never liked Sharkey being killed off. It didn't really move the plot forward (aside from the classic "Compliments of Sharkey."), while Saunders death is crucial to TLD. Plus, Frank McRae is one of my favorite American character actors!

Which henchman/henchmen would have been more deserving of a return appearance and not being killed off, a la Jaws:

Oddjob

OR

Wint/Kidd ?

Definitely Oddjob... Would have loved to have seen him perhaps re-appear in Switzerland in OHMSS or in Las Vegas in Diamonds Are Forever..would have been a hoot! :)

What kind of ski/snow chase action would you like to see Daniel Craig take on in Bond 24...a massive ski jump, like in FYEO OR some killer bobsled action, aka OHMSS and FYEO?

Has to be a massive ski jump - the bobsleigh was always a dubious sequence to me in either film.

A rally driver

OR

A fighter pilot

Wow, tcr, great one! He'd excel at both: a very talented motorist and a man of many skills, our 007 is. The TND PTS is now playing through my head, so I'll choose fighter pilot. It also is a general extension of his prior naval service.

If both were available... in a time of crisis, who would you turn towards for leadership?

Bernard Lee's M

OR

Judi Dench's M ?

Bernard Lee without doubt. No nonsense and never gets himself as emotionally involved as Dench's M. Greatly missed in the role IMO.

Who had the best "hidden assets" of the Pierce Brosnan era?

Denise Richards as Dr. Christmas Jones

Halle Berry as Jinx

Hmm.. have to go with Denise Richards...those underwater shots of her in the sinking sub are.."Quite revealing!" - James Bond "Live and Let Die" :D

People are pretty split on the whole "Bring SPECTRE back or not" issue. But I, for one, would LOVE Strong as Blofeld! A very menacing presence and a fine actor - plus, of course, he's bald :)

Which actor who played a Bond villain, but not Blofeld, would have made a better SPECTRE No. 1:

Julian Glover (Kristatos in FYEO)

OR

Sean Bean (Trevelyan in GE) ?

Craig Mitchell. He passed a full lie detection test every year and spent 10 years with MI6. M suspected something wasn't right with Frost after 3 months. That said, Miranda Frost is definitely prettier.

OR

Branch out with major locations all over the world

I think stay primarily in Europe. I'm all for globe trotting, but sometimes if the danger is kept contained in a continent, preparing to go global, it's far grittier rather just hopping from timezone to timezone.

Will we have the Bond villain revealed before December 6th 2014?

YES - Leaks are already popping up from sets, so it wont be long before we find out!

OR

NO - I have faith the producers will keep it locked down until shooting has started.
