Yes, sounds about the right timing. We'll probably get a teaser before then.

Which theme song do you like better;

DAD

OR

QOS

Has to be....'Quantum Of Solace'. But only just.

Which theme tune is more under-rated:

'Moonraker'

OR

'Licence To Kill

??

Licence To Kill..

Which theme tune is more OVER-rated?

"Goldfinger" by Shirley Bassey OR  "Nobody Does It Better" by Carly Simon?

Tough one but I have to go with Nobody Does it Better.

Do you think Bond 24 will be overshadowed by other blockbusters like Mission Impossible 5 and Star Wars

OR

It has enough of it's own time to bring in the $$$$$

NO..it'll rake in the cash big time, no problem, even though Star Wars is coming out the month after.

Which 007 actor would have worked best if he was cast in a Star Wars film...Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan OR Craig?

Dalton: he would play his role to perfection without stealing the show from the other players.

Would you rather:

B24 met all your personal expectations, even though it bombs at the box office

or

it's a huge success, even though it leaves you and you alone unfulfilled

?

Hmm. I don't know, I'd rather see James Bond succeed at the box-office and be a huge success to globally prove the power the film series still has, so I'd sacrifice my own expectations for that and hopefully come to understand/love it with future screenings.

What is more important for you that 'Bond 24' regains from the Bond formulae:

A really memorable, dastardly villainous scheme that sounds and looks really authentic

OR

A wonderfully equipped car that plays just as much as a part as 007 himself

??

Have to go with a memorable and dastardly villainous scheme that is unique and authentic.

Do you think we will see M's (Judi Dench's) bulldog figurine in Bond 24? Yes or NO?

George Lazenby singing "Another Way to Die"

I actually kind of like Madonna's theme song, probably the only one. And I don't care for Lazenby that much either, so Dalton in the kitchen with the candle stick singing DAD.

Dalton's 1997 'The Beautician and the Beast'

OR

Brosnan's 2008 'Mamma Mia!'

I've not seen either....but I've heard enough about 'Mamma Mia!' so would venture with Dalton for 'The Beautician And The Beast'

Who has spoofed their James Bond persona the best outside the series...

Roger Moore with his countless movie cameo in-jokes and appearances

OR

Pierce Brosnan with his suave, sophisticated and smooth demeanour used in numerous films after

I'd have to go with Rog...His 1980 appearance on The Muppet Show was just classic... (its on Youtube somewhere..)...although Brosnan's appearance as Bond on The Muppet Show was quite funny as well.

Say you were to dress up as a classic Bond character to attend your first theatrical showing of Bond 24..who would you like to go as...Odd Job or Emilio Largo?

I don't think I could pull off a Odd Job so Largo even though I would have to watch the film with an eye patch.

Funnier scene;

Bond getting into bed with Irma Bunt in OHMSS

OR

Blofeld in drag in DAF

Oh dear....well it has to be Blofeld in drag. It's wonderfully creepy and somehow quite scary...but amusing on the whole.

What situation would you like to see James Bond in, during 'Bond 24'

A car chase along the lines of the 'Quantum Of Solace' pre-titles, but longer and a more vital part of the plot

OR

Infiltrating an enemy hideout, using lots of stealth and observational tactics to make it through alive

??

Definitely the Goldeneye-style infiltration of the enemy's hideout...

Ben Whishaw's Q in Bond 24...would you like him to...A. Continue the age vs youth type banter with Craig's 007 OR  B. start developing the Desmond Llewellyn type of grumpiness because Bond never returns his equipment intact ??

I suppose they might as well keep playing on his age since he won't always be young.

Bond 24 action sequence ideas; kind of ideas.... Bond in a monster truck

 OR

Something involving one of those cool double  propeller helicopters

Do you mean a Chinook helicopter? Deffo that one - could be no end of chaos!

What gadget will we certainly see in 'Bond 24' do you think...

The latest smartphone

OR

A new handgun

More likely the latest smartphone...(no doubt from Sony as a product placement gadget).

(Going along with what glidrose posted a few posts ago..)

Roger Moore singing "Moonraker"  OR Sean Connery singing " You Only Live Twice" ?

Who was voted most likely to succeed in high school;

Jaws

Oddjob - Silent but very good in academics and physical education.

What do you want from M in 'Bond 24' -

A briefer screen time than Judi Dench's, sticking to desk/office/government assignment and debate sequences

OR

Equal time to Judi Dench, pitting him working in the field with Bond and alongside others out there in the action

??

I'd like to see Ralph Fiennes' M get equal time to Judi Dench's M and having him out there in the field to assist Bond and others..

Do you think that if Chiwetel Ejiofor is indeed confirmed as the Bond 24 villain, that he'll be a re-invention of the Blofeld character?? YES or NO?

Interesting, haven't thought about him playing Blofeld but he is young that if he did he could play the role for years to come. I just think he'll be the villain though.

Will Craig's Bond live to see the day of nuclear weapons

probably not

I think he will....it's been a while since a good Bond nuclear threat.

What do you think will be the main evil plot for 'Bond 24'

Extortion

OR

Terrorism

Probably go for extortion this time.. We've seen the  "terrorisim theme" farely recently..

What sort of "Bond, James Bond" moment would you like to see in Bond 24?  One that is sort of a slow but dramatic delivery, a la Brosnan to Elliot Carver in TND or Connery to Sylvia Trench in DN OR a quick delivery like Dalton, introducing himself to Sanchez in LTK?

Dalton's delivery every time; it's punchy, realistic, grounded and has a hint of menace to it. He delivered the line as an actual piece of relevant dialogue, not just a throw-in line that got cheers, like Brosnan's intros seemed to do bigger and better each film.

Will we ever get a Bond related spin-off film?

NO - That's for the big blockbuster franchises, not James Bond

OR

YES - We can't cancel anything out from EON, and if the cap fits...

NO..dear god, NO...I am so thankful that the rumored Jinx spin-off film never saw the light of day.

Should Bond's new Aston Martin in Bond 24 be kept the same, metallic grey color as tradition OR no, should they change it up a bit and make it say, burgundy or navy?

For comedic value and decent stunt work, I'll go for the grounded plane chase in 'Live And Let Die'

'A View To A Kill' - is it REALLY that bad?

YES - A creaky Roger Moore, weak characters and annoying Bond girl, a boring plot and just all very slow and uninspiring

OR

NO - A passionate Roger Moore, interesting characters and brilliant Bond villain, a relevant plot and just all very exciting and fun

NO..take away Roger's age at nearly 58 years old and Tanya Roberts as Stacy Sutton and you have a pretty decent Bond flick in my opinion.. I think Christopher Walken and Grace Jones were just terrific Bond advisaries..

With the news that EON is going to do a film on the Eric Snowden sage, are you...worried that that might push Bond 25 to a 2018 release year OR no, they can still manage to have B25 out two years after Bond 24?
